With hesitant steps and a kitchen knife in hand, Claire makes her way to the storeroom where the noise came from. The lights in the tiny room were off as usual yet the soft wind hitting her nose tells her that she had forgotten to shut the window. As she walks over to the window, the door shuts close behind her, making her yelp and turn around. She isn't alone. Before she could think of her next move, the brunette is pinned to the wall behind her by a firm grip on her neck.
She couldn't see the face of her attacker but his strong scent of rain mixed with the metallic smell of his blood hits her nostrils. Claire could tell the Rogue is smirking with his face so close to hers and as his grip tightens on her throat, her air supply gets cut short. Her lips quiver only to say one word, "..Mate..."

I look at myself in the bathroom body mirror, noticing the hickeys that painted my pale flesh. Alex comes out from under the shower before simply hugging me from behind. As he rests his chin on top of my dripping hair, I look at the happy couple in the mirror and feel my heart swell.


"Come now before you catch a cold", the male whispers and I nod, following him to the bedroom. He takes out clothes for us before handing me a shirt and pants. Looking down at the fabric, I shake my head.


"I need a full-sleeved shirt.", I tell him before taking the shirt from him and walking to the closet to put in back in and search for another.


"Full-sleeved?", he asks while I go through my options.


"Yeah, Nadia has asked me to meet her in the cafe so..", I say before yelping as I'm pulled away from the closet and its doors are shut close with a bang. My big eyes look up at the rogue who lightly growled.
