Point Of View: Annie
I reach the bar counter and order a drink. The bartender Johnny gives me a curt nod and then goes back to his work.
I sit on the bar stool near Ruby but not too close.
It is like two strangers are sitting enjoying their drinks minding their own business.
The people around us are all normal people and Johnny. The music is blasting and almost deafening the ears.
As I was sipping my drink, Ruby says something to Johnny and goes upstairs toward private rooms.
Johnny gives me a glass of Mai Tai, giving me hint on where to meet Ruby.
Therefore, we can talk without being noticed by anyone.
I drink the cocktail given by Johnny and leave him a tip.
I walk upstairs, passing through private rooms. I know that Ruby will be in Room no 5.
Because the adjacent rooms are pre-booked by us. I continue to walk toward the open terrace.
Soon, I reach there and stop beside the window of Room number 5.
I knock 3 times, which is the signal that the coast is clear.
