CHAPTER 53 OP SPELLS

I casted the spell as the next second five thunderbolts ascend from the sky.  Striking the bug who cried in pain, As the centipede thrashed in pain. But after the fifth lightning bolt it died.

The centipede spewed a liquid all over the place then finally fell.

Boom!

Its body raised up a cloud of sand.

Ding~

You've defeated the Poison-fanged Giant Sand Centipede

As all this creates a big outburst sending sand flying everywhere.

Which created air flow.  While melting all the sand where lightning bolts struck.

Just the thing I was waiting for as the air flow instantly heated I took control of the air flow using wind manipulation.

And soon I started to speed that up slowly creating a cyclone as sand started to fly around it mixing with the cyclone.

And I started to use my imagination using fire manipulation. I started to get up the ground while this caused more wind to replace the air that was rising above.

I started to speed up wind speed and soon a huge sand storm was creating with so much power that it was pulling Giant Sand Centipede.

While wind speed combined with now sand that was hot enough that it was turning into sharp shards of small glass.

It became a deadly cyclone and even coming near it could cause death. As even breathing could cause those shards of glass to go inside the body.

"Hahaha hahaha. " I laughed at my latest creation as I started to increase its size while counting to supply my mana as fuel.

As multiple sand columns appeared around me

pshhhhh-

pshaaaah-

The centipedes had arrived after smelling their kin's blood.

screeech-

screeech-

My face brightened.

'Just how many are there?'

Looking at the heads of the centipedes popping up from the ground, I could not hide the smile on my face.

As I started to make the hurricane of glass bigger and bigger, trapping every centipede in my sight.

screeech-

screeech-

screeech-

Centipedes cried in pain as inside the storm of glass shards their very skin started to peel off with eyes ears nose neck lungs and every part their bodies was now filled with glass shards while the speeding winds turned into sharp blades that left huge wounds on their bodies.

Which caused even more damage as now those wounds were filled with shards of glass and now every vein in their bodies were filled with sharpenal glass.

screeech-

 screeech

screeech-

screeech-

screeech-

 screeech

The screams continued for a few more seconds as Centipede thrashed their bodies trying to get out of the death storm.

But there was nowhere to get out as the size of the storm was. The cyclone was 2 Km wide.

Soon they started to die out.

....

Time skip

After nearly one hour, I had gained three levels after taking down more than a hundred centipedes.  I have reached level 72.

I looked around at the corpses of the centipedes that littered in the hurricane of glass that was still spinning now it was wider than 5 Km.

As the whole place was rick of blood. It's been one hour and I am feeling drained as now the hurricane of glass was consuming more than I could regain, so to get rid of the problem that was leck of mana.  I had activated both Mana Skin and Mana Recovery Field into active state.

Which had me completely get rid of the problem.  As I continue to maintain and power up the spell provides mana so it grows even bigger.

Waiting for the system to register the spell soon after the second hour I started to get bored and even now the spell was a wider range of 8 km.

On my third hour I felt like it was getting nowhere but I still continued to maintain the spell as I felt like soon I would be losing mana faster than I could recover.

Which was a lot considering my neutral speed is 27.87%(4887.93) per minute. Now it will add 17% extra and it's from my current stat not the old one so it's 5471.96.

So now both add up and make 10359.92 per minute,  now soon I'll be losing more than 10000 mana per minute so anyone can think it's too much yet the system still registers this as a spell.

At the fourth hour I was losing hope as I was sustaining myself on the highest grade mana positions even then it could only last two minutes with my mana regen speed and without it I would be out of mana in 90 seconds.

Now the typhoon is wider than 15 Kms and the wind inside it was faster than the speed of sound so now even near it could rip you apart and turn you into very small chunks of meat.

And this was alone from wind speed and combined with glass shards it became so deadly that it could turn even the minotaur I fought into meat paste.

Which forced me to store all the Centipede into inventory and some of them looked pretty bad as while inside the storm their bodies were filled with glass.

And I am sure some of them couldn't even be turned into shadow soldiers by fact how badly their bodies were damaged.

Penalty Quest: Survive

Goal: Survive for the required time.

Required time: 4 Hours

Remaining time: 0 Hours 37 Min 07 Sec.

It was taking so much time and mana that it reminded me of my starting days as it took more than 8 hours to create a simple misly fireball.

Now this was getting me frustrated.

"Glug, Glug Glug Glug Glug Glug Swiss"

This was the sound of mana position entering my throat. As I drank another mana position when I felt like I would soon be out of mana and threw the bottle and before it even touched the ground it was pulled by a cyclone.

Even though it was costing me too much I wasn't going to give up when I knew I soon would have an amazing skill.

Ding~!

[New skills are created with a specific action.]

[Through continuously focusing on the wind, few new skills have been created.]

"What?  More than one skill?"

Ding~

[Due to the continued wind control and formation, the player has obtained the skill "Tornado"]

Ding~

[Due to the continued wind control and formation, the player has obtained the skill "Sand Storm"]

Ding~

[Due to the continued wind control and formation, the player has obtained the skill "Butchering Winds"]

Ding~

[Due to the continued wind control and formation, the player has obtained the skill "Glass Storm"]

Ding~

[Due to the continued wind control and formation, the player has obtained the skill "Shredding Cyclone".

Ding~

[Due to the continued wind control skill wind manipulation has leveled up]

"Holy fuck!!!" reading all this was genuinely shocking,  "I got 5 skills when I was just trying to get a single skill."

This was a very unexpected development yet a development that I very much liked.

But how did this happen?

Did the system register every phase the spell went through as its own spell?

This is the most possible option that makes most sense out of the thirties I have.

Like this all started with me creating a typhoon.  Which meant it turned into skill "Tornado"

Next was all the sand pulling into it which in turns turns into skill "Sandstorm"

Next was ever increasing speed of wind which was so fast that it turned into wind blades "Butchering Winds," and as the name says anything anyone around or inside it would be butchered.

Next step was to heat up sand using both friction speed and fire manipulation which in turn heated up the sand so much that it turned into shards of glass.

Which requires a lot of heat due to the factor of 3 friction, speed, and fire manipulation made it possible.

And this gave me shards of glass of different sizes, some so small that they could enter human arteries and some so big that even human hands appear small if compared and all of it spinning at bullet speed of bullet.

Which is how "Glass Storm" skill should be created.

And a combination of all four is "Shredding Cyclone" the skill I was initially trying to create.

Winds faster than the speed of sound that pull whole buildings in,  filled with Shards of glass that could shred anything or anyone so "Shredding Cyclone".

And cherry on the cake is because I did all this using wind manipulation the skill went on a higher level.

Now I can understand why it took so damm long to register the spell as the system was registering each step as its own skill.

And I am very thankful that it happened even if I wasted more than 80000 on the mana positions.

'Thanks to their brilliant sacrifice, I  was able to get five skills at .'

Now let's see the effects. "

Ding~!

Tornado

Level: 1

Rank: A+

Skill Type: Active

Mana Cost: 150

AOE: 50 to 70 meters

Cool Down: None

Damage: 200/(+100/S)

Effect:  Drags enemy to its centre while dealing 200 damage instantly in the centre deals 100 damage per second over time. ]

Not bad considering its area of effect.

Ding~!

Sand Storm

Level: 1

Rank: A++

Skill Type: Active

Mana Cost: 350

AOE: 200 to 300 meters

Cool Down: None

Damage: 100/(+40/S)

Effect: The skill creates a vortex of sand. All creatures within 200 to 300 meters were blinded and took damage. While applying a great debuff that lowers the a accuracy by 40%

Any opponent within its area would be immobilized for 3 seconds as well as being blinded, silenced and dazed for next 10 seconds.

Note: the skill does not effects it's user nor anyone he considers an ally. ]

Noice especially great with its debuff that not only lowered the long range attack accuracy but also blinding but also silenced and dazed for ten seconds which is a lot in a fight where every second matters and it also immobilizes the opponent for next three seconds.

"Great"

Ding~!

Butchering Winds

Level: 1

Rank: A+++

Skill Type: Active

Mana Cost: 400

AOE: 300 to 400 meters

Cool Down: None

Damage: 1000/(+600/S)

Effect: a mobile, destructive vortex of violently rotating winds having the appearance of a funnel-shaped cloud and advancing.  That's harder to escape.

Note: the skill does not effects it's user nor anyone he considers an ally. ]

Holy moly look at the damage 1000 instantly and with 600 damage per second.

As the name says it's truly butchering it and with such a large area of effect it's pretty versatile especially considering it's just level one with level damage will accumulate.

Now this is what truly calls a destructive skill with a lot of power as it can cause internal bleeding and organ failure. And on the top of that there is 1500 damage instantly and 900 damage per second.

Ding~!

Glass Storm

Level: 1

Rank: S-

Skill Type: Active

Mana Cost: 500

AOE: 200 to 300 meters

Cool Down: None

Damage: 1500/(+900/S)

Effect: creates a mobile, destructive vortex of violently rotating shards of glass of different sizes. Causes a huge damage while also causing 900 damage per second,  while if the enemy breathes the air filled with glass,  it can accumulate huge damage over time causing internal bleeding and organ failure.

Note: the skill does not effects it's user nor anyone he considers an ally. ]
