Finally inside the lift, she heaved a sigh of relief. having all eyes on her was seriously making her uncomfortable.

A few moments later, she arrived on the training floor. To her surprise, the floor was almost empty. the only students here were obviously her seniors , the clothing on them had the Zastlevania Warriors Academy logo printed on the top left corner of their chest.

she could see various rooms, with different training machines, machines with similar look as what one would find in a gym back on earth.

some rooms were so large they even had tracks for running, others had various weird looking devices that were trapped to the ceilings, she could tell they were meant for training, but for what exactly she did not know.

moving to another room, she saw weapons neatly arranged on the weapon shelves. on another part of the room was a sparring arena.

here students could spar with each other.

she kept inspecting one room after the other, trying to figure out what everything was.

[Ding!] A new system notification opened in front of her.

The host had unlocked a new skill!.

skill name-------Scrutiny

this skill displays information about objects,vampires,humans, and any lifeforms.

skill level------1.

After carefully reading the skill description, elena decided to put the skill to test. she activated the skill and began scrutinising the entire room.

the weapons on the walls were showing various colours, ranging between red and blue.

using the skill to scan through one of the reverse blade swords on the wall that was used for sparing, the following information was being displayed.

looking at the sword while the skill was on, the sword was being displayed in red colour. from her calculations, she could tell red means the weapon was of low quality.

moving on, she decided to scan the next item on the shelf. It was a dual handfan with sharp edges. The colour displayed by the scrutiny skill was blue.

this weapon fascinated elena. she never knew weapons could transmit sonic waves. Moving forward, she continued using the skill to scan every weapon on the shelf. The colours were all red and blue, bringing out her claymore from her inventory. She decided to scan the sword with her new skill.

the colour of the claymore as displayed by the skill was green. the weapon grade was Lengendary. so far, she has been able to observe 3 different colours for 3 different weapon grade, it made her wonder if there are other colours out there she might come across. and what it would look like to scan a vampire.

putting that at the back of her mind, she decided to train, that was why she was here in the first place.being surrounded by various training equipment she was having a hard time picking the one she would settle for.

After much deliberation, she decided to spar and improve her fighting skills, going back to the hall where she saw a sparring arena not quite long.

in this hall where various Ai robots the students could spar with.

they were Ai's of various levels ,ranging from 1-10,the higher the level ,the higher the difficulty.

elena decided to start with a level 4 Ai robot.

the Ai robot was holding a reverse blade sword, just like the one she had scanned not quite long. She was also holding a similar sword in her hands.

After taking her stance in front of the Ai, it began counting down from 5- 0. The moment it got to 0, the Ai began swinging it sword from one side to the other, trying to attack elena, who at the same time was defending against the robot. she thought it would be easy, but to her surprise, the Ai could match her pace, and the force behind each strike was powerful.

After sparring for 3 hours straight, she finally retired to her room, not that she was tired, but she wanted to channel her vampire energy some more.

retiring to her room, she began channelling her energy for another hour before going to sleep.

The next morning, elena was eager to complete her daily tasks. checking through the tasks menue,she was stunned by the crazy task the system had issued.

1. challenge a mage vampire to a duel.

2 . use the Blaze skill for 30 minutes.

3. fight and defeat an opponent.

going through the task, she felt like cursing out the system. she wasn't a full fledge student yet, and the system wanted her to start engaging in fights. Who knows what the consequences would be,elena thought.

stepping out of her room, she headed for the training floor above. Here, she made her way back to the large simulation hall that had a running track she had seen the previous day.she activated the Blaze skill and began running, the more she run the more it felt like the room was expanding. After running for 30 minutes with a speed that could rival that of a car on earth, she still was unable to reach the end of the simulation room.

[Ding]

The host is advised to complete the other tasks before the end of the day.

seeing the notification once more, she began cursing the system. she was thinking about who she could challenge to a duel in the mage rank.

leaving the other tasks for now, she decided to go get ready.
