Entry Trial results!.

At exactly 8am, Elena made her way into the trial hall, just in time to hear the lead instructor Gerald's opening speech.

"Welcome, First year students of Z.W.A. these past few days has been an interesting one for all of us. It was nice seeing you all display your abilities and skills,while you'll agree with me that you lots still have a long way to go,some of you are already doing well for yourself. and as stated at the beginning of the trial, the top participants would be rewarded. "

[chatter.] [chatter].

the students were all excited. They all wanted to know how they did in the trial.

[clearing his throat ,Gerald continued]

"Step forward as you hear your name."

Arwin Antoine .

Elena Greenleaf.

Zareth Gendli.

Emiera Sage.

Aruh Lee.

All five of them made their way to the little stage in front of the other students, standing next to each other.

" After adding up the results of the strength trial with that of the combat trial,as well as the students' potentials after yesterday's assessment, these are the top five students, and to reward their hard work, they academy will give them exclusive access to our V.i.p rooms, a one time pass to the academy's armoury,where each one of you is required to pick any weapon of choice, lastly, a free purchase pass card would also be giving to you all,this card can be used to purchase anything in the academy ground."

as if on queue, the V.i.p room cards that also serve as key were handed over to all five of them, as well as the purchase card. as for the weapons they were supposed to get from the armoury, they needed to wait for further instructions.

the other students also got their room cards. The only downside was that they needed to share their rooms with other students. this meant only the five V.i.p. students would have the luxury of having a room all to themselves.

seeing the dejected look on their faces. Gerald continued once more.

"Our next trial accesment would be held in three months' time. The students with the highest points during the next trial would have to take a spot in the V.i.p room, this means if you work hard and get stronger, you might be able to take a spot on the top five and also enjoy the benefits."

hearing this gave the students renewed hope, but this meant those in the current position needed to get stronger as well in order to protect their position.

the students were dismissed, with everyone having the remaining hours to themselves. while everyone was happy, elena was thinking the best possible way to complete her quest.

then it hit her. She could actually complete both quests at once. First, she just needed to challenge a mage rank vampire to a duel and make sure she fights and defeats her opponent. that should complete both tasks, it would be killing two birds with one stone. she thought.

the only problem was who to challenge. She could challenge emeira, but she was sure emeira wouldn't take the battle seriously, and who knows if the system would even count it as completing the mission.

apart from emeira and Lydia, the only other vampire she knew she had had a decent conversation with was Zareth, and he wasn't even in the mage Rank yet.

thinking about Lydia, she suddenly remembered Lydia didn't make it to the top five, which means she would be separated from herself and emiera. shaking her head in disappointment, she decided to go check out her new room before thinking of a better way to complete her task.

following the written instructions on the room card, elena was able to access her room. in this part of the living area, there were six rooms, three on each side, with the number 1-6 boldly written on top each room.

her key card had the number 4, written on it, so she made her way to room 4. Upon opening the room, she was surprised about how big the room was, it was a master suite with a big bed, looking out of the window, she could have a clear view of the city. she was pleased and excited.

she could see her belongings were already in the room, she didn't pay much attention to this, she decided to look for emeira, stepping out of her room, she saw emeira walking towards her direction.

" Thank goodness, I was just looking for you." elena said. "Why? I'm here now.

[Scratching her head] Elena said in embarrassment, "I want to challenge you to a duel, I saw your skills the other day, I was wondering if you can fight me with your full strength, there is something I want to confirm."

"Now, what kind of vampire would I be if i ran away from a duel? I would gladly fight you in a duel, my friend!" emeira said while Chuckling.

honestly, this wasn't the response elena was expecting.

she half expected emeira to question her motive for wanting to fight, but it turns out, these vampires were all power-hungry. They all are so eager to show how powerful they are. shaking her head, elena responded with a smile on her face. "Thank you."

they both decided to head to one of the training simulation room, where they could fight without being interrupted by anyone.

when emeira had accepted the duel earlier, elena was happy when she got a notification. Without opening it, she knew what it was. now all she needed to do was make sure she fights and defeats emeira. and that she would gladly do.
