Following a miserable, wretched life and a tragic, untimely death, the protagonist finds himself reincarnated as a baby in a different world to the one he was in before. In this world, there are people with special powers, known as Alters.

However, Alters are a minority in this world, and are discriminated against severely. Initially believe that he doesn't possess any powers, the protagonist soon realizes that he has inherited an ancient power, a power that only one other being has previously possessed in this world.

Black Blood, the power that had originated in the Progenitor of Alters, the very first human to develop powers in this world, and from whom all existing Alters are descended from. 

Determined to avoid going through the strife and hardship of his previous life, the protagonist decides to keep his powers hidden and strive to live a peaceful life in this new world. 

But it doesn't last long, his peaceful life is shattered and he gets thrust into the cruel reality of this world, a world wracked with prejudice and conflict. And it soon becomes apparent to him, that any peace he had hoped to find in this world, he would have to fight for... 

What lies in wait for him in this new world? Will he find peace in this world, or is he destined for something darker? What's the secret behind the power of his Black Blood? There's only one way to find out...

"Huh, it looks different to what I imagined...don't cinemas usually have a bunch of seats in a row?" I inquired in surprise.

"Yeah, with regular tickets. I won a pair of premium tickets, though it's usually only couples that go for premium seats, I'm sure you can see why," She replied sheepishly.

Ah, I get it...instead of seats, these are more like booths that are a sort of combination of beds and couches, and there's tall padding around each one, meaning that once you're seated, you can't see the people in the other booths.

They're at a slight incline as well, probably so that people can comfortably see the screen even if they're lying down, which I imagine most people would do instead of sitting upright.

We'd picked an action movie from a popular series, we've both already seen all the previous movies in the series, so yeah. The series is kind of a hot mess, but also super entertaining...it's sort of like this world's F&F.
