Following a miserable, wretched life and a tragic, untimely death, the protagonist finds himself reincarnated as a baby in a different world to the one he was in before. In this world, there are people with special powers, known as Alters.

However, Alters are a minority in this world, and are discriminated against severely. Initially believe that he doesn't possess any powers, the protagonist soon realizes that he has inherited an ancient power, a power that only one other being has previously possessed in this world.

Black Blood, the power that had originated in the Progenitor of Alters, the very first human to develop powers in this world, and from whom all existing Alters are descended from. 

Determined to avoid going through the strife and hardship of his previous life, the protagonist decides to keep his powers hidden and strive to live a peaceful life in this new world. 

But it doesn't last long, his peaceful life is shattered and he gets thrust into the cruel reality of this world, a world wracked with prejudice and conflict. And it soon becomes apparent to him, that any peace he had hoped to find in this world, he would have to fight for... 

What lies in wait for him in this new world? Will he find peace in this world, or is he destined for something darker? What's the secret behind the power of his Black Blood? There's only one way to find out...

Black Blood - The Alter World

There are multiple cameras inside the bathrooms...yeah, that's definitely excessive, and more than a little disconcerting. The inside of the bathroom stalls are just about the only blind spots that I've come across so far.

What gives? How has no one complained about this or found it suspicious? Well, the security cameras are pretty small, I suppose it's possible that most people wouldn't really pay them much attention if they aren't actively looking for them like I am.

Okay...this is a big problem. Where can I possibly hide while I wait for the place to close for the night? It's likely that they've got people keeping an eye on the security feeds to make sure everyone's cleared out before they close the mall.
