I'm back in control, I'm conscious again...guess that means we won, right? I lifted my gaze and looked around warily, keeping my guard up just in case, before my sights settled on a gruesome sight to my left.
The man was on the ground, his head smashed to a pulp, his body laying in a deep crater with several cracks spreading out from it and a small pool of blood that was slowly rising in level. Theo was standing right above the headless corpse, his foot raised over the man's heart.
I stared in stunned silence as he drove his foot down at a blinding speed, loud crunches echoing out as he stomped right through the man's ribs, before a deafening squelch rang out as he crushed his heart, blood gushing out of the stump of his neck as the crater deepened further, the cracks spreading out from it widening sharply upon impact.
"There was no need for that...he was already dead," I frowned, approaching him as he pulled his foot back out of the man's chest.
