Following a miserable, wretched life and a tragic, untimely death, the protagonist finds himself reincarnated as a baby in a different world to the one he was in before. In this world, there are people with special powers, known as Alters.

However, Alters are a minority in this world, and are discriminated against severely. Initially believe that he doesn't possess any powers, the protagonist soon realizes that he has inherited an ancient power, a power that only one other being has previously possessed in this world.

Black Blood, the power that had originated in the Progenitor of Alters, the very first human to develop powers in this world, and from whom all existing Alters are descended from. 

Determined to avoid going through the strife and hardship of his previous life, the protagonist decides to keep his powers hidden and strive to live a peaceful life in this new world. 

But it doesn't last long, his peaceful life is shattered and he gets thrust into the cruel reality of this world, a world wracked with prejudice and conflict. And it soon becomes apparent to him, that any peace he had hoped to find in this world, he would have to fight for... 

What lies in wait for him in this new world? Will he find peace in this world, or is he destined for something darker? What's the secret behind the power of his Black Blood? There's only one way to find out...

"You there, you're a Freak, ain't ya?"

"Your kind isn't welcome here. Get on the wrong flight or something?"

"Should we kill him or sell him? He looks young and in good shape, so I bet we could sell him for a good amount."

"Sounds good to me. But first, let's teach him a little lesson, shall we?"

Wow...this is even worse than I thought.

Today's the 7th of February, 2021, early in the morning, around 4:30 AM or so. My flight had been last night, I made it through the airport and boarded the plane without a problem, and the flight itself was fine too.

I arrived in Larisk about an hour ago, got my luggage and stuff, and then began heading out of the airport. There was a detector by the exit which I had to walk through, which went off as I passed through, several people turning to stare at me when that happened.
