Following a miserable, wretched life and a tragic, untimely death, the protagonist finds himself reincarnated as a baby in a different world to the one he was in before. In this world, there are people with special powers, known as Alters.

Determined to avoid going through the strife and hardship of his previous life, the protagonist decides to keep his powers hidden and strive to live a peaceful life in this new world. 

But it doesn't last long, his peaceful life is shattered and he gets thrust into the cruel reality of this world, a world wracked with prejudice and conflict. And it soon becomes apparent to him, that any peace he had hoped to find in this world, he would have to fight for...

"Damn it...," I muttered, as I picked up the remote and switched off the TV, having been watching the news channel.

It's around 7 PM now, and a total of four nuclear explosions have been unleashed throughout the city so far, the latest of which just happened.

I gave the Unity members until 8 PM tonight to come up with an idea or suggestion on how to proceed with dealing with this, and I'm starting to regret giving them so much time.

Far too many people have died already, I can't just sit here and do nothing anymore...I need to make a move, and quickly at that.

I doubt there's any other solution other than killing him. The fact that Unity still hasn't contacted me can only mean that they're coming to the same realization, or at least I hope so.

There's a good chance that Karagan will launch another nuclear blast tonight, and I'd like to finish him off before that happens.
