Following a miserable, wretched life and a tragic, untimely death, the protagonist finds himself reincarnated as a baby in a different world to the one he was in before. In this world, there are people with special powers, known as Alters.

However, Alters are a minority in this world, and are discriminated against severely. Initially believe that he doesn't possess any powers, the protagonist soon realizes that he has inherited an ancient power, a power that only one other being has previously possessed in this world.

Black Blood, the power that had originated in the Progenitor of Alters, the very first human to develop powers in this world, and from whom all existing Alters are descended from. 

Determined to avoid going through the strife and hardship of his previous life, the protagonist decides to keep his powers hidden and strive to live a peaceful life in this new world. 

But it doesn't last long, his peaceful life is shattered and he gets thrust into the cruel reality of this world, a world wracked with prejudice and conflict. And it soon becomes apparent to him, that any peace he had hoped to find in this world, he would have to fight for...

As I entered through the front door and shot in through the corridor in the mansion, I halted and leapt off to my left as I entered the living room, as a hand came shooting towards me, narrowly evading its grasp and backing away.

The hand then flew back, as the arm it was attached to retracted, a figure stepping out from behind a pillar.

"Impressive, I thought I had you. Hm, looking at the burns on your skin, you must've fought and defeated Reila to get here. You must be pretty damn tough to have accomplished that...but I think you'll find that I'm a rather bad match up for you," He remarked with a smirk.

He was tall and skinny, with dark skin and a shaved head, with a neatly trimmed goatee around his mouth. Looks like his power is the ability to stretch out his body like elastic, and he may have another power or two up his sleeve as well.
