At Lunch Ryan stood outside smoking more weed while looking around, teachers weren't actually cool enough to let him do this on school grounds. That didn't stop him from doing it though when he got the chance, and his best chances were during lunch and before school.
"What's up man, can I get $30 worth?" A voice asked as five people walked over to him, one being Jessica Stanley who had sent him the message earlier. The person to talk though was Tyler, their starting point guard on the team, then there was Mike Newton who was glaring at him, their starting Small Forward.
Ryan didn't say anything but looked at them, he was the teams starting Shooting Guard and honestly he could have been friends with them, but there were to many internal fights in them. Didn't help that Mike hated him too, but that was because of all the interest that Jessica showed him, not that he responded to that.
Jessica had shown some signs of wanting to be attached to him, so he avoided sleeping with her or anything so she wouldn't get the wrong idea.
"Sure thing man." Ryan said while taking it out for him, Tyler had bought from him before and he never had any problems with him.
Tyler smiled along with Eric who was right behind him, the small Asian kid was also a big smoker but was to afraid to talk to Ryan and buy it himself. He was an okay kid but again, Ryan didn't see himself being friends with him, they tried it once and Ryan almost took his head off.
He was just to annoying for him.
After they bought they left Ryan alone and went inside, since he only had the last little left Ryan put it out while carrying his bag into the cafeteria. Ignoring the lines he went to his table, yes it was his since it was the only empty table inside the place, he claimed it on his first day in school.
Taking out his lunch he made the day before Ryan wasted no time digging into it, he would always make his own lunch since it helped his skill and it tasted great. He also brought a lot of snacks, when you are high that is just something that happens, which was why he was lucky he was in such good shape.
Most people were use to the view of him eating a lot, they also watched as he smoked outside so it wasn't a surprise when he took out a family sized bag of chips and ate them. Ryan only ever kept food, a pencil/pen or homework in his backpack, he never took anything else seeing as he was never actually needed anything else.
Something he didn't like about school was how lunch was so short, before he knew it the bell was ringing and he needed to leave, of course being himself he ignored it staying an extra five minutes. As the last of the chips were eaten he nodded in satisfaction and went on to his next class, he was happy that it was Basketball since all they would do is work out some drills in it.
Getting to the gym he saw that people were already coming out the locker room and warming up, Ryan was in no rush as he walked to change. The coach only shook his head, but he really believed that Ryan could go pro with the skills he had so he didn't stop him.
After changing Ryan walked out to see everyone going into drills, instead of joining he started to run suicides to warm up, after running for ten minutes he stopped. While most would be tired from it he was just fine, stretching his arms he watched the five on five on five, the three teams taking turns.
"Alright good job second team. Ryan take over for Smith so that we can get started, I want five passes before a shot boys, get going." Their coach called out as Ryan joined the first team to start the game.
Each team were mixed, that meant that no team was the starting line up, it just would be fair and the team needed better chemistry so this is how it was. Ryan at shooting guard waited down court as the ball was passed into the backup point guard, Ryan never actually took the time to learn his name.
As the ball was brought down the court they passed it before it landed in his hands, even if it was only three passes Ryan took the shot from way beyond the three. The ball sailed and went in with nothing but net, the coach went red in the face but he didn't say anything since the shot was made.

"Ryan get over here." Coach called out as the class was over and they were leaving the gym, Ryan walked over while wondering what was going on, "Just giving you a heads up, there will be drug testing in two days. It is suppose to be a surprise but I am letting you know in advance."
Ryan nodded while making a mental note to go into Seattle tonight, this is usually what the coach did for him after the first failed drug test which kept him out of the game for a month. They all knew that he wouldn't stop smoking so he was usually told in advanced when a test was taking place.
He was just lucky that his coach knew a guy at the testing place so they could get the heads up, if it wasn't for that then Ryan would need to quit.
Nodding and thanking his coach he took off, it was time to go and 'enjoy' the rest of this great day, although it was only in his head he was really sarcastic with it.

When the last bell of the day rang Ryan was the first out the front door, with how quick he got to his motorcycle you would think that he had been working all day. Which he knew wasn't true, he didn't get stopped by anyone or stop to see anyone as he made his way over to his motorcycle, they knew not to stop him.
Putting on his helmet he threw his leg over his bike before taking off, he was going for a run with Meredith when he got back since she was lazy most days. Along the way he stopped at the market since they got his order in, which was just some food that he couldn't buy in town.
Though it was overpriced he had the credit card his parents gave him, along with the little money he made from the task that were completed.
When he made it home he noticed that the Cullen's had completely moved in, most likely with him not watching they were able to move at quick speed to complete it. He didn't know when was the last time they were in town but they most likely switched furniture too, although theirs was in good shape they would put it away for later.
Making it more antique the longer they lived.
"Meredith, I'm home." He called out as he started to put away his dinner for the night along with all his food he would make for the school week.
It wasn't long before she was in the kitchen with her leash in her mouth, they had done their routine so much that she knew to have it ready when he got home. Smiling he put the last of his things before clipping it on her, she barked happily as she walked to the front door.
Though when they got to the front door she froze a moment before growling at the door, Ryan stopped too and it only took him a moment to learn what was happening outside the door. It was no doubt the Cullen's, Meredith being a dog could smell something off about them, no amount of perfume or cologne could hide the smell from a dog.
Sighing he opened to the door to see he was right, standing there was everyone minus Carlisle who he was sure was working at the hospital at the moment.
"Hi! We're your neighbors the Cullen's." Esme, or who he assumed was Esme said with a wide smile while holding a plate of what looked like cookies.
Ryan blinked and blinked as Meredith growled at his side, raising his hands he lit up his blunt before turning to close the door. He was not about to get involved or be friendly with this family, he didn't need someone coming to him because they couldn't leave humans alone.
The family watched him as he tied his running shoes on ignoring them, they all frowned some, except for Alice who bounced in excitement getting into his personal space as he stood up, "Hi! I'm Alice, it is nice to meet you. What's your name?"
Meredith gave one last growl as Ryan took off running with her at his side, he took a drag of his weed ignoring the family that was watching his back. Of course they were more then strong enough to stop him, but they didn't want to do something that could draw to much attention to themselves.
Ryan didn't have a problem with them, in fact he loved Rosalie, Alice, Esme, Jasper and Emmett but that didn't mean he was going to be a good neighbor. He wasn't State Farm after all.
As he ran his phone rang, seeing that it was Leah he answered it immediately, "Hey Leah, what's going on?"
The other side was silent a moment, then he heard a sniffle followed by the sounds of quiet sobbing. Pausing mid stride he sighed, he knew what this was but knew that she needed to see him in person rather then talking over the phone, she just had to much pride to admit it.
"I'll be there in twenty minutes." He said getting a quiet 'thank you' as the phone was hung up.
