Despite what she said Claudia didn't attack again, instead she sped off into the trees, Ryan didn't try to stop her either, instead he was more worried about Rosalie who was still healing from the cuts that were caused. He could tell that unlike Jensen, Claudia was actually a warrior who knew what she was doing, this would have a ripple effect to come, but he was ready for it to happen.
"Come on let's get you back." Ryan took Rosalie's face in his hands and kissed her hard, pulling back he saw her dazed expression, "Thank you for staying and fighting with me. I appreciate it."
He was sure that if she could at the moment Rosalie would be blushing, but she couldn't at that moment she did have a shy expression on her face though, "The choice was obvious, between helping you fight and saving Bella, I would choose you every time."
Ryan smiled kissing her cheek as he led her back to his dirt bike to head back to the house, when the Cullens didn't fight with him he already decided he wasn't going to be helping them anymore. Even if they still had to deal with Victoria in the future he would still wouldn't help, and unless she threatened the wolves he would get them to side with him too.
They quickly arrived at his house and even from it they could hear Laurent talking to them about James wanting to hunt Bella, he ignored it though as he wasn't going to deal with that. Rosalie seemed to be in the same mind set as she took his hand walking towards the house with him, as they entered she got a call, "What?" She asked sounding irritated.
"No...why would I help him out with that?....No, I'm not helping, none of you bothered to help me or Ryan, let Edward figure out for himself!" She growled before hanging up the phone, he could hear the other side and knew it was Alice asking.
"They are your family, I wouldn't be upset if you helped." He said as he took out something to eat, he knew that she might feel some need to help them after years together after all.
Rosalie shook he head though, "No, they weren't there. I expected Edward to get his precious human out of there, but I at least thought Edythe, Emmett and Jasper to help, but they all went to help Bella. Do you think we should be worried about Claudia?"
Ryan kissed her cheek, "Well Jensen was her mate, so you tell me. What would you do if someone killed me right in front of you, but they are to strong for you to deal with them?"
Her eyes grew darker as she growled, "I would wait, no matter how long it took I would plan out their demise until I knew I could strike. Being a viking like her I would plan it out the best I could, then catch you while vulnerable and strike."
Ryan nodded, that logic was sound, in the books and movies Victoria had gone the right way with it, she just planned it wrong as she attacked to quickly, she really should have took her time doing things. He knew that she wouldn't be quick to attack him again, after learning what he was she was going to be more cautious about it all, which would have him looking over his shoulder.
It didn't bother him though as he knew by the time she did attack, that he would be more then ready, her waiting was actually giving her a disadvantage as he grew more accustom to being a wolf daily. That plus whatever the system gave him helped a lot, so he would be able to survive whatever Claudia brought at him later.

As Ryan stood there thinking the mission Complete happened, so apparently the only thing it was warning him of was Claudia and Jensen, they were the main problems that popped up that were new. With him killing Jensen and getting the attention of Claudia then it was a lot easier for Bella, plus of he didn't interfere with James chase of the girl it would show he didn't care about her, making Claudia also leave her alone.
He did see the rest of the Cullens scrambling out of the house, Esme and Edythe were wearing Bella's clothes, but with his nose he could smell them instead. James being the tracker he was there was no way he would fall for it either, he had been tracking for years James would catch on before Bella could even leave the state.
It was weird though, when he looked at his powers instead of something new being added he got a message instead.

Which he knew meant it was something that was there, but it was something that he just didn't know about yet so he would need to learn it first, he could only sigh at that since things just kept piling on.
Rosalie mistook his sigh as she looked at him funny, "Did you want to help Bella?" She asked with her head tilted.
He chuckled shaking his head, "No, just was thinking about how much of a headache Claudia is going to be."
"Oh, well you should have went after her."
He shook his head kissing her cheek, "I couldn't do that. I needed to get you out of there, I was already bad enough that you were hurt, I didn't need her circling around and getting you."
She looked at him with gentle eyes kissing him lightly, "My Hero."

The next day they learned from her family that they were able to stop James, like the movies Victoria never showed and Claudia was in the wind so they didn't have a big challenge to face. Bella was also hurt like in the movie, but instead of letting her turn like they should have Edward toon that away from her, things would have been so much better if she weren't human but they weren't going to take that chance apparently.
So now she was in the hospital in Phoenix while Charlie took some time off just so he could go see her, they had used the lame excuse of Edward going to win her back and her falling down the stairs again. Knowing her balance though it wasn't that far fetched that they found her that way though.
Ryan shook his head as he relaxed on the couch watching a movie with Leah and Rosalie, "Well that ends that."
"No, what about..." Rosalie started but Ryan but her off with a hush nosie and a shake of his head.
"Shh, Shh, Shh, I said that ends that, so that is all that needs to be said." He still wasn't worried about Claudia which he knew she was going to bring up.
Leah rolled her eyes, "So have you finally decided what college you---"
""Shh, Shh, Shh, I said that ends that." He repeated putting a finger over her lips causing Rosalie to laugh, "No school talk either, it is a Sunday and we get to relax, why do you two insist on making me deal with problems."
"Because you are a lazy ass pit head who needs to choose a college?" Leah asked/said with a raised brow.
"I second what she said." Rosalie said nodding, but mentally she was hoping that Ryan had chosen somewhere just as dark and dreary as Forks so that she could follow them.
"*Sigh* I will choose, but we still have two months until graduation and we also have a full summer, even if I have to send in a confirmation by August 1st so technically still plenty of time." Ryan said waving his hand, "No let's finish this then think of something else to do."
