From here begins Seraphina's journey of handling her four very hot but dangerous husbands while bringing a very dead city back to life with the help of the system.

Promised To The Shadows

Seraphina sleep was disturbed when the feeling of being alone suddenly attacked her in the middle of her deep slumber. She grunted and in her sleep, she tried to reach out for Kethan who was sleeping beside her.

But she only found an empty spot. The spot on the mattress beside her was empty and cold, making it very obvious to her subconscious mind that Kethan wasn't there with her.

The moment this realization hit her, her eyes flew open and she was completely awake. She quickly turned her head to look beside her and there was indeed no one there. She was the only person inside the tent.

She immediately sat up before climbing out of the bed. She put on the outer robe of her nightgown and slippers before stepping out of the tent. The moment her eyes searched the area outside, she found Kethan immediately. He was sitting near the bonfire area, his back facing her.
