Sweet Blood (I)

"Did you tell him not to come?" Kethan asked, and his tone sounded more worried instead of accusing. He was really afraid of hurting her.

"I did." Seraphina told him truthfully, and before he could start stating the reasons for which her decision was wrong, she added, "If you are hungry, then just feed. Why do you have to leave me here with Lucian?"

Kethan let out a sigh before he answered, "I will need to return to the castle to feed. But I don't want to destroy our date because of that. If you come with me all the way back to castle before again returning here after I'm done feeding, that will be too much. And I can't leave you here all alone."

Seraphina was silent for a few moments as she tried to think of a solution. It was right then that the idea suddenly entered her mind. It was a risky one, but also something she had been wanting to do for a while.
