CHAPTER 8 : The graduation

"Lily, eat slowly or you will chock on the food"

"I am eating slowly mom."

"I am already getting late for my own graduation for God sake! Don't nag me. "

"What do you mean by nag?

How can you act so lazy when you knew that today is your graduation. "

"Today ,your finally becoming a doctor. And the first quality of a doctor is to be punctual."

"Yeah.... Yeah.... "

"Now finish your food. Your car is broken right?

Your dad will drop you off to your college. "

"No. There's no need for dad to drop me off. Leo is coming to pick me up.

Louis and i will be going with him."

"Ok then, have fun and don't party too much."

"Ok..ok..mom please! i am not kid anymore you know.

"Well , but your always my darling girl."

"..."

"Ok, I'll stop. "

"By the way, will you be coming to the graduation? "

"Of course darling, your dad and i will be their when the program starts. "

Honk..... Honk.....

I think that's leo. Then i'll get going mom, bye.

"Hey lily,

Why can't you pick up your damn phone?

do you know how many times I called you?"

Leo scolded lily frustratingly.

Leo was a very good friend but sometimes he spoke harsh worlds, I knew he didn't mean.

"I am so sorry Leo. It won't happen again. I just forgot to turn on my alarm. "

Lily looked at Louis's direction with twinkling eyes saying 'please help me'.

"Don't scold her like that Leo."

Louis said to Leo with a playful tone.

Lily brightly smiled at Louis,

but the next moment he said,

"You know, it's very difficult for lazy people to change their habits suddenly. "

Leo and Louis both started laughing at his comment.

Lily's smile dropped the next moment instantly after hearing that. and she glared at them with burning eyes.

She thought 'leo was always a demon king but now , Louis is also becoming a demon with an angel mask. That's worse!'

"Ok now, I'm sorry"

"I was just joking.

Please get in the car, we need to go. "

Leo said while controlling his laughter.

Lily got into the car with a grumpy face.

(Lily's POV)

Leo, Louis and I became very good friends at our second year in college. when Louis was just transferred here. and when the original was supposed to start.

But I somehow changed the plot, and now we're here at our graduation ceremony waiting to collect our degrees.

I am so happy right now that nothing happened in all these years.

But I am also concerned that why didn't anything happened?

The entry of the male lead alpha 'Jeremy' was supposed to happened before our graduation.

So what changed?

Why didn't Louis and Jeremy met?

I suddenly recovered some of my hazy memories about the novel plot.

In the novel, when Louis was bullied by Leo and lily he became so lonely and heart broken.

He used to go to a quiet park and sit on beach to cry to his heart content.

Jeremy was a very handsome and tall alpha with radiating blond hair and red eyes.

One day Jeremy coincidentally got to that park due to the wrong address of a blind date set by his parents.

Jeremy heard a soft crying voice.

When he searched around to find that voice, he's eyes fell upon a very beautiful crying boy.

That boy looked very fragile as he was crying. He thought if he touched him, he'll shatter the next moment.

Jeremy's heart skipped a beat. He could sence that boys captivating pheromones,which made him drunk. He fell in love with that beautiful crying boy Louis.

And that's how they met.

After remembering all this information, the first thought came to my mind was,

'That's so cheesy!

And how can he fall in love ,when a boy is fricking crying his eyes out. '

'I mean seriously? '

It's definitely a novel.

But all these things didn't happen because I changed and we became friends.

I feel kind of guilty towards Louis. Because I feel like I robed him off of his destiny.

But maybe I can still somehow make his happy ending happen by making the two of them meet each other....

But what about the main villain, Ethan?

What if he falls in love with Louis and try to destroy their relationship?

And actually ,I also don't want him to fall for Louis and destroy his own life.

If I was just trying to save my life, I wouldn't have cared less in that  situation. But right now , Louis is my friend and I can't let something bad happen to him.

I have to stop Louis from meeting Ethan.

In the novel ,Louis met Ethan first . When Ethan got into an car accident Louis was there at the site. He helped Ethan by doing primary first aid and took him to the hospital.

But that incident also didn't happen now.

Because Leo was the one who made that accident happen to harm Louis who was on the road.

Leo made Ethan's car turn to Louis's director by driving his car by side by side with Ethan.

But fortunately, Ethan avoided hitting Louis and his car bumped into a light pole. So he got injured.

As Leo is had changed, the accident never happened.

So, there is no chance of meeting Ethan right now.

I closed my eyes for a second in relief and said 'Thank God'.

Because I didn't knew, that my relief was short lived.

"Hello...

"Ladies and gentlemen...

"Today we have gathered here for the graduation of our 20XX batch of excellent doctors.....

"...

...

....

The graduation event was starting.

We were all so excited.

I was actually double excited, because in reality, it was my second time graduating from the college.

We all three were sitting in a row in the ceremony hall.

I was sitting on a corner sit, which was the first sit on the side of pathway towards the stage.

Me, Leo and Louis were wearing our hats and coats. We were talking and making fun of each other about how we looked in that attire.

The professor was giving a speech.

"... So now, I would like to call our chief guests, who donated a significant amount of money to make hospital for people in need and..."

I wasn't interested in that boring speech at all, but the next moment professor called names of two people and my ears perked up.

".... Let's welcome Mr. Jeremy tailor and Mr. Ethan Smith.....

".....!"

My mind went black.

It felt like my heart stopped.
