CHAPTER 10 : Congratulations

"Oh... I'm so happy! "

"After going through so much hardship, we finally graduated. "

Leo said with an exited voice.

"Pff.. "

A small laugh slipped through my lips while remembering that, he doesn't even know how much happy I feel, about finally ending through that hell of studying for the second time in my life for becoming a doctor.

We were recalling our precious memories throughout our friendship all these years.

As we were waiting outside the hall, we heard a commotion.

People were coming out of the hall.

"I think the graduation program just ended."

"Our parents should be coming out of the gate. "

Louis said , while his eyes we're searching through the crowd.

I saw my parents and Louis's mom coming out of the crowd towards us.

"Very very congratulations on your graduation my darling. "

My mother said me while hugging me. Fortunately she didn't notice when I was gone from the hall.

"Congratulations lily, dear"

My father was a sweet man. He said to me with a gentle smile on his face.

"Thank you so much mom and dad", I said with a tearful eyes hugging both of them.

All the other students were taking to each other, laughing and were taking photos.

That atmosphere put me in a happy mood.

"Let's take a photograph of all three of us, guys."

I pulled both, Leo and Louis closure to me by grabbing their hands to take a photo.

"Mom, please take a nice picture of us".

"Ok, smile...

One... Two.... Three.....click! "

After coming to this world these were my one of the most happiest memories.

They were so precious to me.

I wanted to cherish these memories.

And if possible I wanted to capture these moments in my heart forever.

I somehow noticed that, Leo was trying so hard to hide his slight disappointment and sadness under that beautiful smile of his.

I knew, what was the cause of that sad heart.

Leo's parents didn't come to his graduation.

Leo had already told me that, his relationship with his parents wasn't good and he didn't expect anything from them.

But who wouldn't be sad in this kind of situation.

Of course any child would want their parents to be happy for them or at least appreciate them in their most crucial moments of their life like this one.

Louis also noticed Leo's deep hidden sadness in his heart.

I looked at Louis giving him a signal and he quickly understood.

Then we both looked at Leo at the same time.

"What?"

Leo got startled from our gazes upon him.

We took fast steps towards Leo and hugged him tightly.

"Wo... Wo..Wo...

"Hey guys, what are you doing? "

"Congratulations Leo for graduating safely. "

Both of us congratulated him in one voice while tightly hugging him from his shoulders and did not let go.

He was confused, his hands were hanging in the mid air as we hugged him.

"Why are you suddenly hugging me? "

"No reason,"

I told him while signing deeply.

"...... "

Leo suddenly hugged us back.

Burying his head in our shoulder.

Without saying anything back.

I think he understood our behavior.

A deep smile formed on our faces.

As time passed,

I wasn't feeling my best since I met main characters.

I had a slight fever, but I thought maybe it was because a lot happened today and I also didn't wanted to concern others.

I just took some medicine and the fever dropped.

Louis suddenly said,

"Aren't those the guest of today's event. "

"What! "

"Where.... Where are they? "

I looked in the direction Louis was looking.

I was so surprised by that sudden attack.

As I was turning my neck and eyes to swip all the area like a crazy person to spot them, I saw, they were coming out of the hall's doorway.

I immediately grabbed Louis's both shoulder and turned his body to the opposite direction from which they were coming.

'I can't let Ethan and Louis meet.'

"What are you doing? "

Louis said with a confused face.

"Its for your own good. "

I started pushing him forward for behind.

"Huh? "

"I...I mean let's go party!"

"If we go a little bit early, we won't be late."

"Let's go Leo."

I tried to avoid the topic.

"Um... Ok, let's go."

(Third person POV)

They arrived at a famous club bar.

"Let us sit over here."

Louis grabbed a sit of their reserved table which was at the corner.

They finally settled down.

"Umm... Sigh.... "

Today's day was so exhausting."

Lily said with a long sign.

"Well, yes it was." (Louis)

"I am drinking to my heart content today. No one can stop me."

Leo said with a determined look on his face.

"Then how are we gonna go home?" (Lily)

Don't worry ,of course I'm gonna call a driver to take us home.(Leo)

Lily got embarrassed.

Oh lily, sometimes I think what's going on in that little brain of yours.(Leo)

"What do you mean?"

Lily asked with a frowned eyebrows.

"It's just that, sometimes I feel like you know everything.... And sometimes your clueless."

"Umm...whatever just ignore what I said "

Leo brushed his words off.

But after hearing those words, for a second Lily's face stiffened.

It was like she got caught red handed.

"Uha ha ha... "

She let out an awkward laugh.

"gulp... gulp.. gulp..... Aaah!... Bang!

She drank the whole glass full of alcohol in one shot out of nervousness and put the glass on the table strongly, ordering, "one more please.. "

She drank three full glasses in a row.

"Slow down lily", you can't drink this much alcohol .

Louis said with a worried face.

Actually, lily wasn't going to drink so much today because she was already paying the price for excessive drinking , by literally dropping into a whole different world.

But because of all the things that happened today , she couldn't help it.

She was so stressed.

She just wanted to forget all her worries by drinking.

Her body was still acting weird,her fever was rising, but she didn't notice.

After all, three of them enjoyed there time very much.

Lily was dead drunk. Because she didn't had any idea about this body's alcohol tolerance.

She put her head on the table. Her vision was blurred.

She wasn't even able to lift a finger.

Little did she knew, that how much she will regret drinking right now.
