Elijah opened his eyes and then confronted with Amisha's surprised expression when he suddenly grabbed the girl's hand while calling someone else's name. Elijah's gaze dropped to see how his arm was holding Amisha's arm tightly. This was the fifth day Elijah had woken up and stayed at Amisha and Hafuza's house. But every time Elijah woke up, he kept mistaking Amisha for his mother.

Elijah quickly released his grip on her hand and then got up from his sleeping position like the previous days. Elijah surveyed the room's environment, which felt familiar since he spent all his time in that place. Since seven days had passed since Elijah last saw Heidi, today would be the last day Elijah woke up in that simple room.
