A Present

Waking up now seemed like a chore. Without places to be or people to talk to, Ah Yeon often times found herself reluctant to even open her eyes in the morning, especially if Lee Min Hyun was not there to make her. This morning was supposed to be exactly the same - she was supposed to wake up, lay in bed for hours, then finally get out, take a shower, eat a meal that was prepared beforehand, take a random book from the bookshelf, and sit on the terrace waiting, like a loyal dog, for Min Hyun to return. However, something unexpected did happen this morning.

"What is this..?"

Ah Yeon rolled to the side of the bed and rubbed her still-sleepy eyes. She did not know if she was hallucinating or dreaming, after all that time spent like a prisoner, she would not be surprised if it was the former. The reason why the woman was questioning her sanity was a small, black, rectangular box sitting on the top of the bedstand with a yellow sticky note stuck onto it.
