When Yoon Se Ah, an ordinary office worker, meets Lee Min Hyun, their department's new intern, she thinks of him no more than a fool in love. However, as their relationship develops, her life makes its turn for the worst, throwing her at his mercy in the end.

This story is about two mentally broken people who cannot give one another what they want, even though deep inside they wish they would find solace in each other, thus, although there is no "real" romance, they still manage to form their own twisted connection, and they don't really mind it.

"How have you been? I'm sorry I could not visit you for so long, I've been... busy."

Ah Yeon threw a quick glance at Lee Min Hyun who was still standing at the door, and her mother shifted her empty look as well. She did not seem interested at all, and the guy, probably affected by that obvious indifference, marched towards the two of them, stood behind Ah Yeon, put his big hands on her tender shoulders, and melted into a very bright smile.

He looked down at Ah Yeon and lightly squeezed her shoulders.

"Go on, introduce us Ah Yeon, you should not be rude just because she is your mother."

The woman flinched upon hearing his words and looked at her daughter with a rather flabbergasted look. Ah Yeon sighed, covered Min Hyun's hand with hers, and said in a calm voice,

"Lee Min Hyun, this is my mother, Seo Ah Jin. Mother... this is my boyfriend, Lee Min Hyun."
