Professor Nicholas is killed for speaking out against the tyranny of his government, but he is reborn with his memories intact due to a system error. He lives his second life in the primitive land of the Nozul Islands as Linus Stannous, a local chief's son. 

Life seems peaceful as the young Linus spends his idle time learning about his new world. But in his tenth year, the System starts interacting with him, giving him game-esque quests with rewards for their accomplishment. To add to the complication, his usual leisurely life is brought to an abrupt end when the enemies of the Nozulian peoples invade. 

At this point, Linus finds his purpose as he uses his broad knowledge of anthropology, civics, and technological evolution together with the power of the System to come up with innovative solusions to transform his Nozulian hometown, Solus, and defend it from invading forces. Inadvertently, his interference ends up affecting not only his people’s fates but the others’ as well.

Reformat Adventures

The earth trembled as the Goliath squadrons marched towards the town, carrying siege equipment side to side. In each squadron, two were designated to carry the heavy burden of lifting the portable walls, while the other two towed carts of rocks for ammunition.

The peasant levy that followed were equipped with assorted weapons, with some supporting units carrying useful tools with them like ropes, ladders, picks, and even hoes for digging ground. Like ants, the massive Nexian force peppered the landscape. Looking towards the town, the troops marched proudly, believing that their superior numbers will ultimately prevail in battle.

Those who experience battling the Solusians walked hesitatingly, knowing the fear of cannon fire. With every odd sounds, they couldn't help but seek the source. They were always looking at the skies, cautious of a missile falling their way.
