Defense of the Western Wall

The city center shook as an army of fifteen Goliaths marched, many equipped with tower shields proportional to their size. Sonny was at the center, leading his men in an attempt to recapture the western wall. Given the narrow streets of Nexus, it became practical for the Goliaths to line up as it only took three of them to fill its width. The houses by the side of the road covered their flanks, allowing for a solid formation.

The Goliath corps aligned themselves in the formation of three units wide and five units deep, with the formation interrupted in the middle by carts of rocks serving as ammo. The first three rows of Goliaths had their shields front and up, imitating a Roman Testudo formation, while the fourth and fifth rows were left with their hands free, so they could hurl their munitions at the defenders up the walls.
