Julius' Arrival

The day ended and the Nexians mostly retrieved their injured and dead from the field. Seeing the recruits were excited to pick up the spoils of battle, Ricardo had to lay down a stern order to bar anyone from coming out to the fields, which disappointed a few of the new men. The veterans themselves weren't interested as they learned from their previous pickings that the goods the Nexians had with them weren't valuable at all, so the ban stood without resistance from the troops.

To prevent anyone from coming out and doing things that could compromise their security, the general put the town and the encampment on high alert, not allowing people to casually exit or enter. Only the scouting teams were exempted from the ban as they were ordered by the commanders to sweep the fields for intelligence. Ricardo saw that the situation may remain the same as it was until reinforcements from Oakwood had arrived.
