We Lose Our Minds In A City of Roses

[KAWAI]

When he had woken up earlier today, the mad king didn't have any expectations of the day, really. He had known already that the Lycans would riot and he had seen the chances that his son would want to leave him again.

He had read through the minds of so many people and he had known what he needed to expect. Even then, there was nothing that could have prepared him for how the morning had turned out at breakfast.

It was almost like the universe was playing some games only that they weren't in a game at this point. This was a reality he was living in, a life that he had waited for one too many times.

If he had been a dreamer, he would have thought that this was one of the dreams that were impossible to make a reality, and yet here he was, with his dear son looking at him softly and at the other side of the table, looking ready to take on whatever was his way.
