The Arrest

" Am bored!!," Cherish complained, "Me too", Summer adds. What are we going to do now, they were both still contemplating on what to do for fun, when the housekeeper came into the living room. "Ma!! Lunch is ready," she said while preparing to go grocery shopping. "Where are you going to?" Summer asked. "To get groceries" the housekeeper replied. Summer looked at Cherished, winked and then said to the housekeeper" Give me the list of things you want to buy, I will go and get them". The housekeeper gave her the list and then went back to work. "Let's go get groceries." Summer screamed excitedly.

Summer and Cherish were doing their grocery shopping when they encountered a man who seemed to be deliberately blocking their way. They tried to move past him, but he refused to budge, staring them down with a smug expression on his face.

"What's your problem?" Summer finally snapped, feeling her temper rising.

The man just sneered. "I don't like your attitude, honey. Maybe you need to learn some manners."

Summer and Cherish exchanged a look of disbelief. Who was this man to talk to them like that? They both started to argue back, their voices getting louder and more heated with each passing moment.

Suddenly, the man shoved Cherish, causing her to stumble backwards. Summer flew into a rage, lunging at the man and throwing a punch. The man retaliated, and soon all three of them were engaged in a full-blown brawl, knocking over displays and causing chaos in the supermarket.

The police were called, and when they arrived, they found Summer and Cherish amid the fight, with the man lying on the ground unconscious. Summer was arrested and Cherish was taken along with them to the police station, where Summer was booked for assault.

Xavier was at his office working when he got a call from the police station, "Hello Mr. Xavier, please your attention is needed at the police station," the policeman said. What for, Xavier asked" Your wife and sister assaulted a man" the policeman explained. Xavier rushed over as fast as he could, feeling sick with worry. When he arrived, he found Summer sitting in a holding cell, looking shaken and scared.

"What happened? Are you okay?" he asked, his voice filled with concern.

Summer looked up at him, her eyes filled with tears. "It was awful, Xavier. This man was harassing us, and when we tried to walk away, he then pushed Cherish. I didn't mean to hurt him."

Xavier sighed, feeling a mix of frustration and sympathy. He knew that Summer could be hot-headed at times, but he also knew that she would do anything to protect Cherish. He made arrangements to bail Summer out of jail, promising to help her through the legal process.

As they left the police station, Xavier couldn't help but shake his head in disbelief. He never would have imagined that a trip to the supermarket could end up with his wife and his sister getting arrested. But he also knew that with Summer and Cherish, anything was possible.

When they got home, Xavier asked both of them to head to their different rooms. He couldn't blame Summer for getting in trouble while trying to protect Cherish. " These girls would be the death of me," he exhaled and went to his room.
