Chapter Thirty-Seven
Violet (POV)
I woke up and see Edward sleeping next to me. I slowly got up and went to the bathroom. I grabbed a shower and got dressed
After I got dressed I went back to my room to see Edward still on my bed busy on his phone
"Morning," I said
"Morning you look beautiful," he said and stood up hugged me before asking, "How did you sleep?"
"Great," I said and we walked downstairs
"Good morning," I said happily when we entered the dining room
"Morning sunshine you're in a good mood," Dad said smiling
"Yeah are you okay?" Alex asked
"I'm fine," I said grabbed a donut and took a bit
"You're awfully happy and full of sunshine today,"
"Can't I be?" I asked as I grab a glass of juice
"Okay now you're scaring me, You're happy and wearing something other than black, and your drinking juice, not coffee which you always drink," El said making me laugh
"Well I'm happy today and in a great mood so since we don't have school till Wednesday I was thinking we can have a family day," I said
"That sounds like a great idea," Uncle Ang said and smiled
"What do you want to do?" Dame asked smiling
"I was thinking maybe we can go out for ice cream then go to the fair then I don't know and then maybe tonight go to the restaurant?" I asked
"Sounds fun after the fair maybe we can go to a movie before going to the restaurants," Chase suggested
"Yeah yeah can we?" Griffen yelled excitedly
"I think that's a great idea, you guys?" Dad asked his brothers
"Sounds fun I'm in," uncle Ang said
"Why not it does sounds fun," uncle Aless said
"Okay then kids go get ready you have five minutes," aunt Cam said and all the boys disappeared
"You want Raphael and his family to join?" Dad asked me as I take a set and finish my juice
"Only if that is alright with you guys," I said
"Not at all," Uncle Ang said
"Well go call him and invite him and his family," uncle Aless said smiling
"Thank you guys," I said stood up and gave them all a hug and a kiss on the cheek before I left
I dialed Ralph's number and he answered on the third ring
"Hey beautiful," he said
"Hey, I was wondering how would you and your family love to have a great amazing day with my family?" I said
"What are we going to do?" He asked
"Well we're going to get ice cream and then go to the fair for a little while before going to a movie and then tonight we're going to a restaurant," I said
"Sound amazing let me ask my family," he said
"Guys come down!" I heard him yell after a second I heard Lucas voice
"What do you need?" He asked
"Well, how does a family outing with the Rossi's sound?" He asked
"Sounds good to me," I heard Oscar said
"Me too," Emilio and Lucas scream together
"Okay, son when?" I heard his dad ask
"Today," Ralph replied
"Okay sure why not," his mother said
"Great," he said and then said to me, "they are all in should we meet you at the fair?"
"Nope meet us here we'll wait for you guys and then I can ride with you," I said
"Okay see you now, love you," he said
"Love ya," I said and hung up
I walked back to the dining room and said, "they're on their way here,"
"Who is?" Leo asked as he entered the room
"The Roman's," Dad said
"Okay," he said and sat down
After a while, the Roman family came in and all my brothers came down.
"Hey," I said and give Ralph a quick kiss
"Hey love ready to go?" He asked
"Yeah we're all ready," Blake said
We all we to the cars and got in. After getting ice cream we went to the fair.
"Okay don't go too far and have your phones close at hand okay," Dad said and added, "We're going to be at the food restaurant over there okay if you need anything,"
Ralph grabbed my hand and we started to walk around. We stopped at a gaming stand where you have to shoot the guys on the surfboards to win a prize
"You want to give it a try?" I asked Ralph
"Sure," he said and gave the guy some money
He shot every one of them and then asked me, "What do you want?"
"I'll like the cute blue whale,"
After a while and many games later Ralph won all these stuffed animals for me. We gave it to two of our guards so they could put them in the car for me.
We went on many rides together and then went to the shopping part of the fair.
As we went from one stand to the other I saw something I liked so we went to the next stand and I said "I'll be right back don't move,"
I ran back to the last stand and bought the hat that I wanted. I went back to Ralph and put the hat on his head surprising him
He took the hat off and looked at it and smiled.
"Her king," he said and put the hat back on
"And his queen," I said and put mine on
He kissed me and we walked further exploring. We walked quite a while before dad called me
"Hey dad," I answered
"Hey sunshine we need to get going for the movie," he said
"Okay we'll be right there," I said and hung up
We walked back and saw my family and his family waiting
"Nice hats," Oliver said as we got close making the families look at us
"Thanks are we gonna go?" I asked changing the subject
"Yeah let's go," dad said

We watched two movies before we went out to get some food. After eating we went back to our house where the Roman's was going to stay
"Okay, everyone to bed since tomorrow is the ball all of you need the energy, Theo you'll sleep with Vi tonight," Dad said
We all went to our bedrooms. I went into my bathroom and got changed into my pj's. When I got back in my room Theo already made himself comfortable.
I smiled and lay next to him and darkness overtook me quickly.

I woke up when Theo kicked me off the bed and I landed on the hard floor
I stood up took my glass of water that was next to my bed and poured it all over him
"What the fuck?!" He yelled making me giggle.
"That's for kicking me off my own bed," I said and went to the bathroom.
I quickly got changed and went downstairs.
I grabbed a glass of juice to drink my pills and then grabbed a plate of pancakes and went to the dining room
"Morning everyone," I said cheerfully
"Morning sunshine how did you sleep?" Dad questioned
"Great until Theo kicked me off my bed," I said and started eating.
"So we girls have a lot to do today first we going to have our nails done then we're going to change into our dresses before the people do our hair and makeup," aunt Cam said happily
"Is it too late to run?" I asked making everyone around me laugh
"Yeah I think it is, sunshine," dad said and smiled
"Damn," I muttered and everyone started laughing again
"Don't worry Vi it will be fun," Grandma said
"Isn't that what Hitler said to his soldiers?" I asked making everyone else laugh even louder
"Damn I like this girl," Gareth said
"Thanks," I said smiling and then drop the smile just as fast when aunt Cam said, "Let's go,"
I stood up and we went to the car. We arrived at the shop and the woman working there greeted us by the door
"Ms. Roman is good to see you again. Are these the girls who will be joining you today?" She asked
"Yes Blare," Ms. Natalia said
"Very well, why don't all of you sit down and tell us what you want," Blare said
My grandma, aunts, and Ralph's mother went first, and I waited. After my grandmother was done the girl asked me, "What do you want?"
"Surprise me with something black and gold," I said
After a while she said, "Done" I looked at my hands and was amazed at what she did.
"Wow thanks," I said
"Glad you like," the girl said before she left to the backroom
"Okay let's go," Aunt Cam said
We thank them and left when we got home nobody was there.
"Where is everyone?" I asked
"I don't know they should be here," aunt Cam said
"I'll call them. Go get dressed then we'll do our hair and makeup," Grandma said
"Okay," we all said
We all went up but I forgot my phone so I went back down.
"What?! You guys better get back here look I want to do just as much damage to him but right now Violet needs you here okay get back here and make sure you're ready when you stop here," Grandma said
I ran back upstairs before she saw me and got into my room and started to get dressed. After I got dressed my aunts came in.
"What should we do with your hair and makeup?" Aunt Sara asked
"Surprise me?" I said but it sounded like a question
They looked at each other and then started working. After many hours, they finally finished and then gave me a mirror
"Wow," I said when I looked at myself
"You like?" Aunt Sara asked
"Like? No. I love it," I said and hugged them. "Thank you,"
"No problem, you look, great hun," Aunt Cam said
"You guys look great too," I said to them. My grandma and Ms. Natalia came in and grandma asked, "You guys ready to go?"
"Yeah is the guys here yet?" I asked
"No, they will meet us by the place they're already there looking that everything's right," Grandma said kinda nervous
"I don't believe that for one minute but it's fine, let's just go," I said kinda sad, and left the room
We walked outside and got into the limo. No one said anything and I just looked out of the window
We stopped at the place and nobody was there yet we got out and Ms. Natalia started ordering the people around to get everything ready before the other guests get here.
"I'm going to the balcony," I said and left
After a while I see cars stopping at the back then I saw my family getting out and entering the building
"Where is she?" I heard dad asked
"Balcony," aunt Cam said
"Okay I'll go," he said and then I heard footsteps coming up the stairs
"Wow you look beautiful sunshine," I heard dad say behind me
"Thanks," I said without looking at him
"What's wrong?" He asked
"Where were you all?" I asked turning around looking at him
"Don't worry about that we're here now," he said
"Okay," I said and walked past him
"Violet wait," he said and I stopped
"We were at the warehouse dealing with Chad," he said
"You have him?" I asked
"Yes," he said
"Great so you're still keeping things from me," I said shaking my head and walking down
"Violet I can explain," he said making me stop and turn to him
"No don't just don't," I said hugged him and walked down
When I got to the first floor I put on my smile and walked to my family
"Hey guys," I said and hugged all of them
"Hey you look beautiful sorella," Dame said
"Thanks," I said
"Yeah you look gorgeous more," Ralph said and tried to kiss me but I moved my head and he kissed my cheek
"You okay?" He asked
"Yeah just great," I said smiling
"Okay," he said dragging out the O
"Okay, boys we need to be at the door to greet the guests," Mr. Seb said
"Okay," Oscar said and he and his brothers went to the door with their parents
"Violet can we please just talk," Dad said
"No look I'm going to enjoy this night we can talk tomorrow okay," I said
"Violet, can you come and help me?" Aunt Cam asked and lead me away from them
"Thanks," I said when we were away from them
"Don't worry hun let's just have fun tonight okay," she said
"Violet!" I heard someone tell
I turned around and saw my best friends from Los Angeles
"Rosa!" I yell and hugged her
"What are you doing here?" She asked
"My family is the Rossi's, What are you doing here?" I asked
"My family is the leader of the Mexican Mafia," she said and pointed to the people behind her
"Come on I'll introduce you," she said grabbed my hand and led me to her family
"Violet this is my father, Carlos, my mother, Teressa, and my big brothers, Miguel, Felipe, Javier, and my little sister, Silvia" she introduced us
"Nice to meet you guys," I said
"You too gorgeous," Javier said
"Back off dude she's our sister," I heard Liam say behind me
"You're a Rossi?" Ms. Teressa asked
"Yeah," I said
"So how do you know each other?" Dad asked
"Rosa and I were best friends in Los Angeles and still is
"Yeah, but I moved back home with my family now I live with them in Mexico," she said
"That's so cool," I said
"Well, it is a small world isn't it," Chase said
"Tonight is going to be fun and I can't wait for Dean, Grace, Sean, and Will," Rosa said
"They're going to be here tonight?" I asked excitedly
"Yeah," she said
"This night will be fun," I said and dragged her away from our families
"Do you think Alexei will be here tonight?" I asked her when our families were out of earshot
"No, they never show up since everybody thinks there like their uncle," she said sadly
"So what happened to you and Caleb?" I asked her, changing the subject
"We broke up since I moved but we both agreed to stay friends," she said
"Enough about me, how are you?" She asked me
"Well it going good but they still keep things from me that gets me so mad," I said
"I understand trust me I do but they do it to protect you," she said
"Rosa you know me and what I can do, do you actually think I need anyone to protect me?" I asked her
"True I sometimes forget who you really are," she said and we started laughing
We started talking and all the people started to arrive. After a few minutes, we started to go around and seek out our friends.
We first saw Sean and Drew. So we went to them and Rosa kept them busy as I stood behind them and say Boo
They jumped and looked at me with wide eyes
"Vi," Sean said and hugged me
"Hey shorty what are you doing here?" Drew asked and hugged me
"My family is the Rossi's," I said and their eyes widen even more
"Like the Italian and American Mafia?" Drew asked
"Yup," I said and smiled
"Well, that interesting," Sean said
"Look we have to go but we'll talk later okay," I said and Rosa and I left
I saw Everest and Dom so I went to them
"Hey guys," I said and hugged them
"Hey Vi how are you feeling," Everest asked as he hugged me
"Better a lot better but also sick of secrets and lies," I said
"Why so?" Dom asked
"Chad is alive and my family has him and hid it from me," I said
"He's alive?!" They both whispered yelled
"Yeah but I'm ignoring it for now," I said
"Damn okay," Dom said
"Hey Rosa," Dom said and hugged her when she came to us
"Hey, boys where is Ava?" She asked
"Her mother freaked out again so she's staying there for a day before she's going to stay with my parents," he said
"Cool where we're you just now?" I said and asked Rosa
"Oh I asked Drew where Grace was and he said she's sick so she stayed in England," she replied
"Oh I completely forgot about her I thought they broke up," I said
"They did but they got back together after she almost got kidnapped by some gang," Dom said
"Oh shit okay," I said
"Yeah, but we should go, bye guys," Rosa said and we left. After walking around for a while Will suddenly appeared in front of us
"Hey girls," he said smiling
"Willy," I said and hugged him
"I hate that name you know that right," he said and hugged Rosa
"I know that's why I said it," I said and giggled
"You lucky I like you like a sister," he said. I was going to say something but the light went off and a spotlight came on and showed Ms. Natalia and her husband
"Good evening everyone and welcome to our annual ball," Ms. Natalia said
"Tonight we're here to make new friends and give our part back to the community by every Rand you give to a charity you give a child some food to eat so don't be greedy tonight and open that wallets of yours," Mr. Seb said and made a joke at the end
"Enjoy the night," Ms. Natalia said and the music started as the lights came back on
"Hey I should get back to my family see you later," I said and Rosa and I went back to my family
When we got near the table we saw Alexei and his brothers talking to my and Rosa's Family.
Rosa and I looked at each other and then went to the table
"Hey," I said getting their attention
"Vi and Rosa," Alexei said and hugged us
"Hey Alexei," Rosa said
"Hey no love for me?" Vlad asked
"Vladdy," me and Rosa said and hugged him
"Damn I missed you guys," he said and kissed Rosa's cheek
I hugged the rest and sat down and we talked before Ralph and his family came to us
"Can I have a dance?" Ralph asked me
"Sure," I said
We went to the dance floor and started dancing
"Why are you mad at me?" He asked
"How long have you been hiding the secret that you guys have Chad?" I asked
"You're brothers told me yesterday about him and your breakdown they said the night when you had your breakdown they found him," he said as we danced
"So they lied to me for 2days and you for one," I said
"Amore we wanted to tell you but you were so happy yesterday we didn't want to ruin it, you finally looked like you were free," he said
"Can you just promise me that you'll never keep secrets from me again and tell me the truth no matter what please," I said into his chest
"I promise amore," he said and kissed me
"Good because next time you lie to me I will cut off your tongues," I said and he nervously gulped
"Your kidding right?" He asked
"We'll see," I said and we danced further
After a while, my father cut in and started dancing with me.
"I'm sorry I acted like that when you told me," I said
"No you were right to act that way and we can't keep secrets from you if you're being honest with us, it isn't fair I know and we break your trust when we do so from now on let not keep secrets from each other okay?" He said
"I love you, Dad," I said and hugged him on the dance floor
"I love you too sunshine," he said
After many hours of fun, we all laughed together and talked about the stupidest stuff. My brothers all got to know Alexei and his family we all partied until I got a small flashback
I see my brothers and Raphael getting a little drunk and I left and went towards my dad
"Dad, can you take me home please?" I asked when I got to him
"Sure sunshine everything okay?" He asked
"No and yea can we just go I'll tell you in the car," I said hurried it out he saw my panic inside me took my hand and we left
We got into the car and he turned to me and asked, "What happened?"
"Ralph and the boys all drank and they are a little drunk. I also had a flashback about Chad getting drunk so it didn't really help to see them a little drunk," I said and started fiddling with my fingers
"Shit I didn't even think about what seeing drunk people will do to you I'm so sorry sunshine," he said
"It's fine can we just go home," I asked
"Sure," he said and we started driving home
When we stopped I went to change into something comfortable before going to the movie room
I set a Disney movie on and started watching and after a while, I fell asleep
