Chapter Thirty-eigth

Violet (POV)

I woke up on the couch in the movie room and went to the kitchen, grabbed a glass of juice, and drank my pills

I was on my way up when I heard my father

"What were you guys thinking drinking in front of her was one thing but getting drunk! And causing her to have a flashback!" He yelled

"I can't believe you boy's after all she's been through you still go and drink in front of her," uncle Aless said

"Oh come on why does she have a problem with us drinking in front of her. I get why we have to stay away from her when we're drunk but why can't we drink in front of her?" Brent asked

"She abused alcohol before didn't she?" Emilio asked

"Yes and we were so stupid to drink in front of her," I heard Oliver said

"Not just that she saw you guys when you were just a little drunk," uncle Ang said

"Fuck," I heard Ralph

I quickly went upstairs and got into the shower before getting dressed. I grabbed my phone and called Rosa

"Hey, can we meet up?" I asked

"Sure, meet me at Starbucks," she said and hung up.

I went downstairs and into the living room

"Good morning," I greeted everyone and turned to dad and asked, "Dad can I go out with Rosa please?"

"Sure sunshine," he said

"Great thanks bye," I said and went out of the room fast

I got into my Lamborghini and went to Starbucks. When I arrived I saw Rosa near the back so I went to her.

She saw me coming and stood up and greeted me with a hug

"Hey," I said

"What's wrong? Last night you just disappeared and today you called me this early to meet me?" She asked

"I had a flashback last night and I remembered something about Mia," I said

"What did you remember?" She said

"I remembered the day they beat me so much I lost my memory and I ended up a the hospital you remember that day right you, Jax, and Caleb visited me," I said

"Yeah what about that day?" She asked

"Well before I blacked out after they hit me multiple times I heard Chad over the phone," I said

"Okay,"

"I can't remember the call clearly but I heard him say something about my mothers family the Knight's," I said and her eyes went wide

"The Knight's like in Europe Mafia Royalty's," she said

"I think so but I don't know I have to get a DNA test to prove it if my mother was a Knight before the Allen's adopted her why did they give her up?" I said

"Dude that's messed up and are you crazy how are you going to get a DNA test?" She said

"I don't know okay I don't but I have to," I said

"Okay let's get some coffee and then go," she said

As we stood up I saw Levi and Nick who were near us. Like next table over near and near enough to hear us.

When we stood up and walked to the front I stopped at their table

"Hey guys," I said

"Hey Violet," Nick said a little nervous

"Hey who's your friend?" Levi asked

"Oh this is Rosa my best friend from Los Angeles, Rosa this is Levi, and Nick there the brothers of my best friend here," I introduced them

"Nice to meet you guys," Rosa said before dragging my arm to the front

"We seriously need to talk," she said

We order our coffees and when we got them we went to my car and she started talking

"What do you know about the Knight king?"

"That his name is Mario and he has five sons but one of them is like an adopted son," I said

"Okay well then you should go dig a little don't you think?" She said

"Yeah I should, thanks for everything and that you're here for me," I said

"All ways we're like sisters arent we?" She asked and opened the door to get out

"We are bye," I said and she closed the door

I called Carter

"Hey bro can I come over?" I asked

"Right now isn't really a good time Vi. I'll see you tomorrow at school bye," he said fast and hung up

"That's weird," I said to myself and drove home

When I got home I stopped my car in front of the house and went in

"Vi, can we talk?" Blake asked

"Yeah yeah, not right now where's dad?" I asked

"Kitchen with the rest of the adults," Oliver said

"Cool thanks," I said and went to the kitchen

"Dad, can we talk?" I asked

"Sure sunshine what is it?" He said

"Well it's about mom's family," I said and took a seat before continuing

"Was she adopted by Mia's parents?" I asked

"Yes, she was how do you know that?" He asked

"Who was her real family?" I asked

"I don't know she never told me she just said that she was in a car accident when she was young and that she lost her memory, Why?" He asked

"So you don't know how many brothers or sisters she had?" I asked

"No," he said and the asked l, "Why do you want to know?"

"Last night I had a flashback it was when Chad put me in the hospital for a week because I overheard him talking to someone on the phone.

I lost my memory of that day until last night I remember he told someone that no one will ever find, mom, that he made sure she will stay hidden from them.

That was also the week mom died. I think Chad has a bigger role in our lives than we know, Can I please talk to him," I said

Dad just looked speechless and I could see tears in his eyes

"Absolutely not," uncle Aless said

"I just need to talk to him and you promised when you guys have him I could be the first to get my revenge," I said

"Fine but only you, me, and your uncles will go I don't want your brothers to be there," Dad said and took his keys

We got to his car and got in. We drove to the main warehouse and we went down to the dungeons

We walked into a room and I saw Chad beaten and bruised

"How does it feel?" I asked and he snapped his head up

"You little bitch your the one who ordered them to do this to me?" He yelled

My father was going to hit him but I stopped him by saying

"Don't can you leave us alone for a minute please?"

"We'll be outside if you need us," Dad said and they all left

"I got to ask you something, was it fun hurting me all those years?" I asked Chad

"So fucking good," he spat out

"That's good to know," I said and went to the table

"My mother, who's her real family?" I asked

"I don't know," he said and smirked

"Okay," I said and took a knife from the table

I walked to him and stabbed him in the knee

"Let's try this again. Who is her family?" I asked as he screamed

"I don't know" He yelled out I twisted the knives that were in his knee making him scream more

"Names please," I said

"Mario, Olivia, and their four sons," he yelled out

"Th Knight's?" I asked

"Yeah them," he said

"Thank you that wasn't so hard was it," I said and continued

"Who do you work for?" I asked

"Ivan he recruited me," he said as pick up another knife

"Okay and Mia?" I asked

"That bitch was just clueless, Ivan treated her. He made her kidnap you and he brought me in to make your life hell," he said

"Mia was treated?" I asked making his eyes go wide

"Shit," he mumbled

"Don't stop now," I said smirking

"Fuck you," he yelled

"You tried and never succeeded," I said

"The day you beat me so bad that I landed in the hospital for weeks just before the ambulance arrived did you mean what you said?" I asked

"Can't remember what I said," he looked down

"When you said 'I'm sorry for what I'm doing but I have to to protect my kids' did you mean it?" I asked

"You remember that?" He asked shocked

"I remember everything now," I said and a tear left my face

"Myles was my best friend we were inseparable you were his dad and a father figure to me and one day your wife left and took him away from you, you changed I cried for days, and then when you started dating Mia I thought it was a gift but then you beat me so bad I lost all of my memories of him and you," I said and let tears fall

"I'm sorry it was the only way to keep him save," he cried out

"Your wife was found dead on a beach about two days after you died.

And I found your son he is safe but he's going to need a dad Chad, be there for him," I said and cut him loss

"Your family won't let me leave Violet not after what I've done to you, you were such a happy and wonderful child and I ruined you," he said and looked down

"I'm so sorry but I deserve this," he said

"Dad" I yelled

My dad and uncles came in and saw Chad on his knees in front of me

"Can you please get him a doctor and then get him on a plane to Paris?" I asked

"Are you kidding me no," dad said

"Dad please, he and Mia only did the things they did because Ivan blackmailed them.

He promised he'll never come back to New York, live with his son who needs him and I already have Drew and Sean agreed to help them get on their feet and check on him and his son," I said

"So what after everything you're going to let him go?" I heard Ralph say behind us

"Yess because my whole life I lived without my family and I will not do that to another kid so he will get on board of a plane to Paris and he will get his act together for his kid," I said

"Guards get the doctor to help him and then get the private jet ready to go to Paris," Dad said and I hugged him

"Thank you," I said and then looked at Chad

"This is my last question. Where is the Knight's?" I asked him

"Last I heard was that Valentino and his wife Vicky lives here in New York and the rest I don't know," he said and then the guards took him to the infirmary

"Why do you want to know about the Knights?" Dad asked

"They're mom's family," I said shocking them before they could speak I asked,

"Dad can Ralph take me home I have to talk to him please,"

He nodded his head and left with my uncles

"After everything you went through why are you forgiving him?" Ralph asked me

"Because I just can't fight anymore I forgave him because I don't want to live in the past anymore," I said and hugged him

"I still don't get you, your too pure for our world," he said

"Then you haven't seen me with a bow and arrow yet," I said and started laughing

"Let's go home please," I said and kissed him

We went to his car and started driving home

"Violet about last night I'm sorry we all are we should have drunk that much alcohol in front of you," he said after we left the warehouse

"Oh that I don't care about you guys drinking in front of me it's just that you drank a little too much and I didn't like it but it doesn't mean you have to change your lives just because of me," I said

"You know that's why I love you your fucking amazing," he said smiling
