Chapter Thirty-nine

Violet (POV)

We arrived at my house and went in. Just when we walked in I heard Dame scream, "Fuck!"

We went to the living room and all my brothers looked at me

"Vi..." Tony tried to say but I cut him off

"One- I'm not mad that you guys drank last night and two- Chad is on his way to Paris because I forgave him and let him go live with his son," I said and they just looked at me

"You what?" Chase asked shocked

"I forgave Chad and let him leave," I repeated myself

"Cool cool cool," Edward said

"So glad you guys understand," I said and grabbed Ralphs hand before quickly entering the kitchen just before they all started to freak out and yelled

"What happened with them?" Aunt Sara asked when she entered the room

"I decided to forgive Chad and let him go to Paris where he and his son will live he also promised never to come back," I said and poured myself some coffee

"You forgave him?" Aunt Cam said shocked

"Well to move from the past I had to forgive them and I also remembered a lot of stuff," I said

"His son, his daughter, and I were all friends, until the accident that took Chad's daughter away.

Then Chad's wife and son just disappeared. He started dating Mia and that's when Chad got blackmailed into abusing me," I said

"Mia and Chad got both blackmailed by Ivan I don't why but I forgive them because through all that bad I still loved them and had some good memories with them as my family," I said

"Never throw away family," Dame said and smiled

"Yeah exactly," I said

"When did you get so wise?" Dad asked

"Always was but right now I'm hungry," I said and everyone laughed

"Come on dinner is ready, will you help me take the salad to the table please dear," Grandma asked me and I nodded my head we all sat down and started eating while talking about things

After I was finished eating I said, "Goodnight love you all, and see you guys in the morning,"

I hugged them all before going upstairs. When I got upstairs I called Carter again but he didn't answer so I tried again but nothing.

C-Carter

V- Hey you're probably sleeping and if you ate we'll chat tomorrow at school but if your not can we meet?

C- Sorry Vi but I can't see you tomorrow at school

"Why is he acting so weird?" I asked myself before texting back

V- Did I do something? You're acting weird and distances. Are you okay?

C- No you didn't do anything and I'm fine I just have some stuff on my plate right now

V- Okay just know I'm here if you want to talk

I walked to my bathroom and grabbed a quick shower before climbing into bed and got out my old Laptop

I started searching for the history of the Knight's and their location

Mario Knight

Business~ Own multiple businesses, like Casinos and Hotels

'Well, I guess there isn't much to learn that I already know. I guess I can find out a live location tomorrow.' I thought

I put my laptop away and went to sleep.

I woke up to Liam shaking me.

"Stop," I said softly

"Are you okay?" He asked

"Mmm," I hummed

"Good stand up you're going to be late," he said and left.

I quickly got ready for school and went down

I walked into the kitchen and grabbed a glass I drank my pills and grabbed an Apple since I'm not that hungry

"Vi, come on we're going to be late!" I heard Oliver yell as he walked into the kitchen

"You guys need to hurry up assembly is in about 45min and I'm leaving your asses here," I said kissed his cheek and went to my car

Tony climbed into my car just when I started the engine. I looked at him before driving to school. When we got to school we went into the assembly hall.

I saw my friends in the back and went to them.

"Hey guys," I said

"Hey Vi," the said

"Did you guys see Carter?" I asked and Edward pointed to him sitting near the front talking to someone

"Can you guys tell me what happened in going to go," I said and when they nodded their heads I left

Tony must have seen because he stopped me when we got out of the building

"What's wrong?" He asked

"Nothing I just didn't want to sit there and listen to someone speak," I said

He grabbed my hand and we walked to my car. He took my keys and then got into the car.

H started driving and then stopped at a little dinner. We walked in and went to sit in the back by the window

The waitress who looked his age came to us and asked, "Hello my name is Blue what can I get you two today?"

"Two lime milkshake and two burgers with fries," Tony said

"Okay, will that be all?" She asked

"No he would also like your number," I said making him snap his head to me

"Well if he does he can ask for it and give me his name," she said and then left

"Why did you do that?" He asked me

"Why not," I said and we started chatting about random stuff until Blue came back and gave us our order.

"Thank you," I said and took a bite of my fries

"Yeah, thanks," Tony said and gave her a small smile

We started eating and after we were done my phone ranged

"Hello?" I answered

"Hey, where are guys?" Oliver asked

"Oh we're at Hope's dinner," I said

"Okay the assembly is almost done so come back," he said

"Thanks, we're on our way," I said and hung up

I stood up with Tony following me.

"Thank you and have a great day," I said to Blue as I paid

"You guys too," she said and smiled

We went back to school and arrived as the students left the assembly hall

We walked towards my brothers and friends

"Hey what did we miss?" I asked as we got near them

"Nothing except the usual boring shit," Edward said

"Aww it couldn't be that bad," I said trying not to giggle

"Boo," Ace said from behind me

"Was I supposed to be scared?" I asked as I turned around

"Damn your no fun anymore," he said and hugged me

"Hey guys," I said to Kia and the rest

"Hey Vi," they said back

"So we wanted to hear are you still in the band?" Ace asked

"Yeah about that," I said nervously

"Chill Vi you don't have to be but we would love that you still jam with us in class," Kia said

"Deal and if you need a new bandmate Carter is an amazing choice," I said

"Nope don't even," Carter said

"Anyway we should get to class see you later," Ace said and they left

"Why would you do that?" Carter asked

"Because you're great at playing musical instruments," I said

"Whatever," he said

We walked to our classes and the teachers started passing out some tests

"You have 3 hours to finish and every test is different so it won't help you if you cheat," Ms. Harper said

"Why are we writing different tests?" Thea asked

"I don't know and don't care. After you are done writing you give me the test and go wait outside after everyone's done the bell will ring and you'll have 30 minutes to eat and drink and then the bell will ring twice meaning you should come back to class. Your time starts now," Ms. Harper said

We all started writing. After 1 and a half hours I was done so I stood up gave Ms. Harper my test and left the classroom. I went to my car and I leaned on it.

After 45 minutes my brothers and friends came towards me,

"Did you guys also get some tests?" Theo asked me as I there

"Yeah," I said and leaned against my car

"I wonder why they gave us the tests," Edward said

"Me to, the tests was hard," Carter whined

After a while, the bell ranged twice and we all went to class. As we entered there were other adults in the classroom.

We all took our seats and the adults started to hand out the test with their results.

"Violet please come with me," Ms. Harper said

I stood up and went with her to the principles office. As we enter the principal and another man smiled at me

"Violet please take a seat," the principal said

"I'm going to give you two tests that you have to finish in 4 hours okay," the other man said and handed me two papers as the principal left

I looked at him and then shrugged before starting after 2 hours and 14 minutes I was done.

"Here," I said

"You're done?" The guys asked shocked

"Yeah," I said and he took the tests and started marking them as I sat and watched him

After a while, he looked up at me and then down at the paper again.

"Something wrong?" I asked him

"No not at all wait here I'll be right back," he said and left taking the papers with him

After a minute he came back with the principal

"Violet you finished these tests in half the time and scored 100% on every one of them," the principal said

"Cool so I can go now?" I asked and stood up. Just when I opened the door my father walked in

"Violet please sit down and listen," the principal said

My father and I sat down and the principal gave him the papers

"Violet is a gifted child and we like her to join our university on a scholarship," the guy said

"She's only 17 and she hasn't even finished high school yet," dad said

"I get that but like I said she is a very gifted girl and very smart we like to give her a chance to graduate school and attend our university early," he said

"Okay," my father said

"Great, we'll get the papers in order. She has to complete four more tests and then she can wait for next year when she will start attending our University," the guy said smiling

"The test do you have it here?" I asked

"Yes, I do why?" The guy asked

"Because it is only 11:00 and I'm bord so let me write them," I said

"You sure sunshine you can come and write it tomorrow," dad said

"Nope, I'm sure, give me the test please," I said

"Okay here it is you have 5 hours to complete these two and tomorrow you can write the rest," the guy said and handed me the two papers

My dad left with the principal as I began. After 2 and a half hours I was done.

"Here you go can I have the other two?" I said he looked shocked and said, "Okay you have 7 hours to complete these two are you sure you want to do this today?"

"Yes," I said and took the papers

After starting to write the principal came in and looked confused the guy stood up and went to the principal and said, "She wants to write everything so call her father and tell him to come to pick her up at 8,"

"You think she'll be done by then?" The principal asked

"I think she will be done sooner," the guy said and the principal nodded his head before he left. I finish one of my papers and looked at the time and saw I spend 1 and a half hours on it.

I started with my last paper and finished it in 2 hours and 24 minutes. I looked at the time and saw it was already 5:24 pm.

I gave the guy my papers and waited for a while till he was finished marking my other papers.

He put my papers in a folder and said, "I'll be right back,"

He left for a while and came back in and said, "I called your father his on his way so let's go wait outside,"

We went outside and saw two cars coming in. My father and Dame climbed out and came towards us when the cars stopped

"Mr. Rossi and Damian it's good to see you again," the guy said

"Mr. Grayson is good to see you too," Damian said and shake his

"Here is her test it already marked and she hasn't seen the marks yet," Mr. Grayson said and I went to the car

I throw my bag in before I climbed in. I waited for two seconds before my dad and Dame came to the car.

"So?" I asked

"Here," Dad said and gave me the folder I looked at the results of all four and saw it was all 100% correct

"Cool can we go home now I'm hungry," I said and they looked at me shocked

"What? I always got 100% for every test this wasn't different the tests weren't even that hard," I said

"Vi these test was meant for second year's in college," Dame said

"Really?" I asked

"Yes, the Dean of the University wants to see us Monday in his office. We'll talk about everything and go home until then you can do what you want," Dad said
