Chapter 13

"kyra are you OK what happened?" Sasha said kneeling down to kyras level. Kyra looked Sasha in her eyes and for a second Sasha thought she saw them glow. "we definitely just opened pandoras box" Kyra said....

"What do you mean?" Sasha asked. "What did you two do" my mother did as she busted into the room. "we didn't do anything" I said lying "really you want to tell that to the earthquake we just had" my mother snapped. I looked at Sasha "we don't get earthquakes" I replied looking at my mom. "EXACTLY!" she snapped.

"we went into my subconscious in order to try to find an answer" I told her. "why would you do that?" my mother asked as I stood up. "that is our job" she continued "it's not just Yours and everyone elses job mom" I pleaded with her "Kyra I'm just trying to save you, you are!"... "I am a hybrid" I said interrupting her "And I don't need anyone to save me" I continued, "not from vampires not from other witches or wolves, not from anyone... I am Kyra Lewis and I yield to no power that is what you taught me, and that is how i will live" I finally finished

"what in the world is going on in here" Chris said walking into the room "it looks like a tornado ripped through the place he continued "Chris would you mind talking some sense into her because obviously I cant" my other said putting her hand on her forehead. "come with me kiddo" he said and I slowly followed him. it wasn't long before I saw what he wanted me to see.

"oh my God what happened" I asked looking around. "it looks like an earthquake shook the place to death" I said looking up at Chris. "you happened" he said. I looked back at the damage. "whatever spell you did caused all of this, and it's not just here I felt it all the way from my territory" chirs explained. " I really did all of this just from a simple mind spell" I said. he nodded.

"kyra I know you just want to help your mother help you" he said looking at me "but the power you have inside you is so unstable that even a simple spell could destroy everything you love" he continued. "i-i really just wanted to help" I said. "I wrecked mom's life enough by being born a hybrid I just..." "kyra" he said interrupting with a serious look on his face.

"I'll say this once and only once" he continued. "you were born a hybrid because you were meant to do great things. you are the perfect mixture of a wolf and a witch, why? because you are a witch who can turn into a wolf, and you are a wolf who can use magic... the moment Amber found out she was pregnant with you and decided to keep you she knew what she was getting into. for the goddess's sake, your mother got into a car accident when she was 2 months pregnant with you. you should have died, but here you are standing in front of me. if you want to live a good life then don't just succumb to the fate that you are a hybrid kyra. accept it. you Kyra Lewis are a hybrid and you have the power to create your own fate because you are a piece of the goddess's heart which means you are not only meant to do great things but you are meant to do the impossible" he said seriously.

"a few days ago I started to hear whispers" I said honestly. "what?" he said slightly shocked. "did you tell your mother?" he asked. I shook my head "no" I said "it's why Sasha and I did the the spell to figure it out" I said. "and did you he asked" I looked back up at Chris. "I'm not exactly sure" I said. "but I did learn something that seems important" I said seriously. "what?" he asked again.

"he's not dead" I said "who's not dead?" Chris asked confused. "the man" I said "the man who kidnapped me all those years ago... he's somehow still alive in my head" I said honestly. "and I think he's the reason the dark magic inside me suddenly became even more unstable, the reason why even the weakest spell can cause all this damage" I explained. "I also think he is the only one with the answer on how to keep the dark magic from bursting" I continued.

Amber continued to stay in the room with Sasha after Kyra and Chris left the room. "What the hell were you two thinking?" Amber asked annoyed. "we just want to help" Sasha said solemnly. Amber stormed out of the room, she avoided where Kyra and Chris were as not to disturb them and made her way out side.

she closed her eyes and lifted her head slightly as the wind blew lightly on her face. this was her attempt to calm down.

finally she did the one thing she had never done. she screamed. letting out all of her built up anger and sadness from over the years. so much energy came out from her scream, it Caused the trees and few buildings around her to shake. almost like an after shock from the previous quake caused by Kyra.

"get it all out?" Chris said appearing behind her. "how did you know I was here?" Kyra asked. Chris walked over to her and put his hand under her chin then slightly lifted her head so she could look up at him. "I will always know where my beautiful mate is" he said then lightly kissed her. and she kissed him back.

their love was interesting. they never once lived with each other or married. chirs was the only one of the two of them that felt the mate bond. but even though that was the case Amber never pushed him away, and accepted him with open arms.

"kyra told me some things while we were talking" said chris" after he finished kissing Amber. "what is it" Amber asked slightly concerned. "she believes the hybrid who kidnapped her the one you killed with hell fire is still alive and living inside of her subconscious" chirs explained. "and she thinks he may hold the answer to fix everything" Chris continued.
