Chapter 17

Ambers pov

It's Been 3 days since Kyra Left... Ran away... I'm not exactly sure how to put but in the 3 days she's been gone. she's left more then just a trail of blood.

The day she left it didn't take much time for her to cause her first bit of chaos. after we freed ourselves from her circle of fire, we noticed the large amounts of smoke coming from the distance, and along with it a Rouge wolf covered in burns running for her life.... we could only conclude what happened for ourselves after we captured the Rouge and questioned her.

"She was insane" the Rouge woman said. she was tied to a table and weaken with wolfsbane and silver cuffs. "we charged at her sure I admit it but she used some sort of spell on us to make us feel pain" the woman continued to explain "my mate somehow managed to get the strength to fight it and charged at her again and she killed him, there was no hesitation or regret in her eyes if anything it looked like she enjoyed it" she said fear in her voice.

"your wrong" I said slamming my hands on the table "I wish I was, but yall saw how I was when ya caught me" she said. "she was even laughing as she set everything a blaze I barely managed to escape with my life" she said pitifully.

Present time

I didn't want to believe what the Rouge had said but at this moment we knew nothing about Kyra, she was unpredictable. she had the power to take on and destroy whatever she wished. and this moment she was capable of just about anything she proved that when she killed a Rouge and turned 30% of the woods into ash.

we obviously didn't Intend to just let her go and cause all the havoc she wanted. I had members of the coven attempting to locate her and Chris and Nathan even sent wolves to try to track her down.

the Council of elders learned pretty quickly what had happened and made the decision to hunt her down. their intentions were to bring her back alive but they also said if it wasn't possible then kill her. meaning we had to find her before them.

"Dammit she's untraceable" Sasha said throwing her pendulum. "Calm down Sasha we'll find her" I said attempting to console her. "I know but the longer she's out there the more damage she'll do and the more she'll regret when she back to normal" she said solemnly. "Sasha... do you blame yourself?" I asked her curiously "for what?" she asked sadly "for Kyra turning dark?" I asked her.

"not exactly" she said. "but Maybe if I hadn't stormed off that day I would've noticed" she said. "no one noticed Sasha it's not your fault and I can swear by that" I told her. "She's right Sasha with the progression of dark magic in her body it was bound to happen at some point" Mia said as she entered the room.

"Anything yet?" I asked... she shook her head. "not even a flash" Mia replied. "Dammit!" I said annoyed. "she's blocking us I know it" I said "considering how many other witches are looking for her there's no doubt about that, the only thing we can do is keep trying In hopes she eventually let's her guard down and rely on the wolves" Mia explained.

I sighed "I know it just really pisses me off" I replied.

"On the day of night a power born, one that destroys, all of its own. mix of monster and magic it's power untold. if you don't destroy it, it will destroy all that you know" a familiar voice said as they entered the room.

"What's your point Martha" I said turning and glaring at her. "it was foretold that this would happen even before she was born I'm sure you remember" Martha said with an I told you so smile on her face. "Hard to forget" I replied. "the only reason she was allowed to live this long was because you could control her but now look at where we are she may truly kill us all if we don't dispose of her first" Martha said.

"Martha in case you forgot which considering your old age I'm sure you did so allow .e to remind you" I said walking over to her. "I am the magistra of this coven, I have been for the last q0 years and I will continue to be until the last beat of my heart, meaning I'm the one who makes the decisions in this coven especially when they come to MY DAUGHTER" I told her.

"you trully never change... I am" she said "You are an elder and that is it" I interrupted her arrogant words "Your job is to advise that is it, and each and every time you seem to forget your place especially when it comes to my daughter. You are not the Magistra of this coven I am and if you don't like that you can take your old disrespectful elder ass and go to another coven who may actually want your opinion though I seriously doubt there are any" I snapped.

"how dare you" she said angry "oh I dare... I dare because I have the power to but you only do it because you think you have the right to and guess what Martha you don't and I am officially done with your old bitchy ass. this is your last chance question me again and you will have no other choice but to find a new coven do you understand" I said seriously. she looked me in the eyes for a moment then huffed and stormed off.

"Damn" Mia said "I've finally had enough of her shit" I said turning back to Mia. "only took 10 years" she replied. "I have no clue how my mother put up with her so often and didn't snap" I said rubbing my temple. "who knows" Mia replied.

I sighed "Alright let's get back to finding my daughter" I said seriously.
