In the distant future, the world is devastated by a global disaster that leaves most of the planet uninhabitable. The few remaining humans live in one massive city, known as The Last City. The city is divided into various districts, each with its own rules and regulations, and is controlled by a powerful government that keeps a tight grip on every aspect of life.

The Last City

Jax and Mia moved stealthily through the shadows, keeping close to the walls of the government facility. They had planned their mission meticulously, and so far, everything was going according to plan.


As they approached the entrance, Jax motioned for Mia to wait. He crept forward, taking care to stay out of sight of the guards patrolling the perimeter. He could feel his heart pounding in his chest as he reached for the lock, praying that it would open.


With a soft click, the lock gave way, and Jax pushed the door open. He motioned for Mia to follow him inside, and together they slipped into the darkened hallway.


The air was thick with tension as they made their way deeper into the facility. They encountered no resistance, but the quiet was almost more unnerving than any danger could have been.


Finally, they reached their destination: a large, heavily guarded room deep within the facility. Jax motioned for Mia to wait outside as he slipped through the door.


Inside, Jax was greeted by a shocking sight. The room was filled with machinery and equipment, all focused on a single, massive object in the center of the room. It was a portal, a gateway to another world.


Jax felt his blood run cold as he realized the implications of what he was seeing. The government had been experimenting with interdimensional travel, and who knew what kind of horrors they had unleashed.


He quickly snapped a few pictures with his camera before he heard the sound of footsteps approaching. Jax knew he had to act fast. He slipped out of the room and motioned for Mia to follow him.


Together, they raced back down the hallway, their footsteps echoing through the empty facility. But they weren't fast enough. Just as they reached the entrance, they were met by a group of heavily armed guards.


Jax and Mia quickly drew their weapons, ready to fight for their lives and their cause. The air crackled with the sound of gunfire as they exchanged shots with the guards. Jax felt a sharp pain in his arm and stumbled, but he kept fighting, fueled by adrenaline and the belief in their cause.


Finally, the guards fell back, and Jax and Mia burst out into the daylight. They knew they had to move fast. The government would be after them now, and they couldn't risk being caught.


Jax and Mia sprinted through the streets, dodging crowds of people and weaving in and out of alleys. They could hear the sound of sirens in the distance, and they knew they were getting closer.


Finally, they reached the edge of the city and made their way out into the countryside. They ran until they couldn't run anymore, collapsing on the ground in exhaustion.


As they caught their breath, Jax and Mia looked at each other, their eyes filled with a mixture of exhaustion and triumph. They had done it. They had uncovered the government's secrets and fought for their beliefs. They were rebels, and they were proud of it.
