Will you marry me?

Ezra stood in front of the restaurant, checking his watch every few seconds. He had planned this moment for weeks, and it was finally here. "How am I certain this useless girl, will agree to marry me," He thought to himself, took a deep breath and walked inside.

Hailey was already sitting at the table, her blonde hair cascading down her shoulders. She smiled when she saw him and stood up to hug him.

"Hey, you," she said, kissing him on the cheek. "You look nervous. Is everything okay?"

Ezra smiled weakly. "Yeah, everything's great. I just have something I want to ask you."

Hailey looked at him curiously, her blue eyes searching his face. "Okay, shoot."

Ezra took her hand and led her to their table, which was decorated with candles and rose petals. He had gone all out for this, and he hoped it would pay off.

As they sat down, Ezra took a deep breath and looked into Hailey's eyes. "Hailey, I've been thinking about this for a long time, and I know that I want to spend the rest of my life with you. You're my best friend, my partner, and the love of my life. Will you marry me?"

Hailey's eyes widened in shock, and she gasped. "Ezra, are you serious?"

Ezra nodded, his heart pounding in his chest. "Yes, I'm serious. I love you more than anything, and I want to spend the rest of my life making you happy."

Hailey's face lit up with a smile, and she threw her arms around him. "Yes, yes, yes! Of course, I'll marry you!"

Ezra grinned and slipped the ring onto her finger, watching as the diamond sparkled in the candlelight. Hailey leaned in and kissed him, her lips soft and warm against his. She thought they were going to be happy together for the rest of their lives.

As they pulled away from each other, Hailey wiped away a tear. "I can't believe this is happening," she said, her voice shaking with emotion. "I never thought I'd be lucky enough to find someone like you."

Ezra reached for her hand and squeezed it gently. "I feel the same way, Hailey. You're everything to me, and I can't wait to start our lives together."

They spent the rest of the night celebrating their engagement, savoring the feeling of being so deeply in love. As they walked out of the restaurant, hand in hand, Ezra knew that he was the luckiest man in the world, he would soon have all the assets Hailey's parents left for her.

He looked up at the stars, feeling grateful for everything that had led him to this moment. He knew that there would be challenges ahead, but he was ready to face them all with Sasha by his side.

As they drove home, Hailey fell asleep with her head on his shoulder, and he frowned when he looked at her. When they got to her place, he woke her up. Hailey woke up and smiled at him, then they said their goodbyes.
