CHAPTER 5

One weird thing about the people in this college was that some were extremely interested in the idols attending the college, and I was a bit surprised to find that there were numerous idols there, they obviously wanted to take pictures and videos but couldn't as one leaked photo or video, they get reported to the police. Then, there were the students who just want to study and they were always the ones to shut down the fans.

This morning too, several shouts and screams were coming from here and there, and it was disturbing. The idols were great at ignoring them but for a common person like me, I seriously wanted to put tape on their mouths. I groaned and went inside the lecture hall, Taehyun, Beomgyu, and Heuning Kai were already there, I thought they would change their seat but I guessed they became my seatmates now.

"Good morning, " I said and sat down. Dang, so many eyes, I knew the guys were really great people but I wished I didn't become acquainted with them, I didn't think people liked me for it. But who cares about their liking anyway.

"Oh, morning~" Taehyun replied and lifted his bag off my seat. Beomgyu and Heuning Kai were bickering about something, I looked at Taehyun to ask about what was going on.

"Don't mind them, it's their daily routine." I just smiled and sat down.

Class started and we were bombarded with work and assignments. It was just the first week of college but I didn't think we can complete our work this year.

It was lunchtime, I and the guys went out when their manager came up to us.

"We change the photoshoot to this afternoon, so you need to come. I have already acknowledged your professor." Oh, I guessed I had to eat alone.

"Okay, we are coming. Let us just help Alanna to wait for our Hyung." Heuning Kai said and I looked at him confused. His Hyung, as in his elder brother? Why was I supposed to be acquainted with him?

"Yeonjun Hyung! Soobin Hyung! Here!" Beomgyu shouted and I looked to see the man from last week. Right, his name was Yeonjun.

He came up to us with a tall guy, a really tall guy. I felt suffocated standing amongst them, they seriously were all so tall that I felt like another being with them.

"Are you guys leaving? I heard they rescheduled the photo shoot." The tall guy said, he looked at me and looked at the others again. Yeonjun did not say any words but kept his eyes on me, which made me extremely uncomfortable.

"Ah, right. Soobin Hyung, this is Alanna. She's a friend now." Heuning Kai introduced me. I just smiled, not knowing what to say.

"Alanna, the guys have to leave. Come and have lunch with us." Soobin said. I looked at the guys to see them putting on masks and hats. Right, I forgot they were idols.

"Uh, I don't want to disturb you guys. It's okay." I said and waved back at the guys leaving.

"No, you're not. Come." Soobin said and walked, seemed like I had no choice so I just followed them. We walked into the cafeteria and tell you what, all eyes were on us. Like every eye, I looked down at the floor to hide my face. I should not have followed them.

"Stand beside me." I looked up to see Yeonjun putting space beside him. I nodded and walked up to his side.

"We packed lunch, do you?" Yeonjun asked and I just nodded again, suddenly forgot how to speak.

"The foods here are terrible, don't even try it." He said again. Noted.

We walked towards the table beside the big window and sat down, we took out our lunch.

"So, Alanna, I heard you recently moved here. How is it?" Soobin asked while eating his lunch.

"It's going pretty well, I guess. I am just not used to the surrounding." I replied.

Soobin really seemed like a shy guy but once he warmed up, he was really fun to be with. He's kind and really handsome. Never have I thought I would be hanging out with celebrities when I go to college.

After lunch, Soobin left us saying he had some things to complete. Yeonjun asked me if I wanted to take a walk and I agreed.

"Did you go home well that night?" I asked, suddenly feeling a bit awkward with the silence.

"Yes, oh right," He said and rummaged through his bag, his eyes lit up as he pulled out a necklace.

"When I went home that night, I found this necklace on my coat. I figured it's yours." He said and I walked closer to have a look. It was the necklace Landon gave me, how did it end up here? God.

"Oh, how come it's here? I don't remember wearing it that night." I said and reached out for the necklace, he gave it to me and I carefully put it inside my pencil case.

"Thanks for that." I smiled, and he just nodded and walked. He didn't seem like he chatted much.

"I actually waited for you the past few days at the park." He suddenly said, I looked at him, eyes wide.

"Huh? Oh, seriously, you don't have to. Why do I have to be so clumsy?" I said and slapped my forehead. I heard a chuckle and I looked up, Yeonjun was smiling at me, I swore I blushed like crazy, I probably looked like a tomato.

"Well, I really enjoy taking long walks, so it's not really a problem for me." He said and sat down on a bench. I looked around and the college campus was really nice, it felt good to be there after a long lecture.

"How old are you?" Yeonjun asked.

"I just turned eighteen last month," I answered.

"You're a year younger than Hyuka and Taehyun," He said, Hyuka? Oh, right, Heuning Kai. I'll call him that from now on, Heuning Kai was such a mouthful.

"Ah, then, do I have to use formalities, then?" I asked I had never called anyone with honorifics before.

"Hm, that depends on you. If you are uncomfortable, it's okay." He replied.

"Yeah, I had never used honorifics before. I guess I have to get used to it." I said, and I noticed that he was staring at me the whole time. I felt really embarrassed when I noticed it. I didn't know what to do.

We stayed there until we had our next class, I didn't have any friends besides the guys, so it was a bit lonely to sit by myself in class. I noticed some of the celebrities that came to the college also cut classes due to their work. But they rarely talk to anyone except some people who I guessed were their group members. I really hoped that the excitement of having celebrities at our college would tone down soon. It's a bit annoying seeing everyone everywhere, and not to forget to mention they were really noisy too.
