Epilogue

They meandered around a bit before either Sebastian or Claude were contracted again. Once they were the rest of the family were brought in as part of the staff. Silas and Colin were still training to be butlers like their fathers, but they were called upon to do other things while in the house. They didn't seem to mind. It kept their 4-year-old little minds busy.

Two years later Lydia found out she was pregnant again. The pregnancy ran its course and when she gave birth she gave birth to two little girls. They each had black hair like their fathers. The first had scarlet eyes like Sebastian, and the second had golden eyes like Claude. So each of her mates had another child, this time a daughter. Lydia handed Sebastian his small daughter, saying, "Her name is Sadie."

Sebastian held his daughter close to his chest and said, "Your brother and I protect you, little Sadie. I cannot wait for Colin to meet you."

Lydia smiled at the exchange then handed Claude his daughter saying, "Her name is Cara."

"Oh my! Silas will want to meet you most urgently, my little princess," Claude tickled under his daughter's chin.

Colin and Silas were brought in to meet their sisters, but not long after were called away to do something in the house. In fact, Claude needed to get back to his master, so he handed Cara back to Lydia saying, "I'll be back when I'm able."

It wasn't the best plan, to share the soul between the three of them, but it was the only plan they had. Sebastian lay in the bed next to Lydia with Sadie on his chest, "What are you thinking about, love?"

"It's been 2 years, Sebastian. Two years! I haven't had one chance to check in on Ceil. It doesn't help that we're not even in England anymore!" Lydia lamented.

Sebastian kissed her forehead, "My darling. Is that all that you're worried about?"

"I mean... I worry about us and how we'll make it in years to come and our children, so no that's not all I'm worried about."

"Lydia, no matter what you, me, and Claude are bound together... forever. Nothing will ever change that. Once our children have gone through puberty, they will share our fate. Demons do not die, love. We cannot. We either live, if you can call it that, here on Earth, or we reside in our home in Hell," Sebastian explained.

"And Ceil?"

Sebastian played with a lock of Lydia's hair, "I took it upon myself to check up on him. He and his wife are doing very well. By all accounts, they never leave each other's side. On the other side of that, the Queen's Guard dog takes care of his business with an iron fist. Ceil grew up well and it's all thanks to you."

Lydia smiled at him, "If you and Claude had never listened to me in the first place then we wouldn't be where we are now, so thank you for listening and believing me."

Sebastian kissed her, "I would do it all again in a heartbeat."
