Hear my roar (4)

As Jean de Bresuilve was leading the reserve and watching the battle unfold, he received a report from his men that the left and right flanks were slowly pushing back the enemy during their engagement against the Ghibellins. At the same time, the cavalry battle between the two armies was evenly matched, with no clear winner. Apparently the battle was expected to continue for a long time before one side gained victory over the other. Jean knew that maintaining the momentum of the flanks was crucial for their success. He quickly devised a plan to reinforce the cavalry, hoping to tip the scales in their favor and bring an end to the prolonged battle.

''Good, it seems we are having the better'' , commented Jean to one of his baron retainers as he slightly tapped his thigh with his finger.
