In a usurped kingdom , amid a war-torn and blood-soaked Italy, Conradin's battleground is set. To reclaim his birthright the crown of Sicily, he must tread a path paved with blood, learning that he must do whatever it takes to ascend the throne.
---------------
In the year 1266, the tale of Conradin, the last scion of an ancient imperial dynasty, unfolds. His once-great kingdom, Sicily, has been ruthlessly usurped first by his own uncle and now rests in the hands of the cunning French Count Charles. Through a treacherous plot involving the Pope, Charles managed to oust the Hohenstaufen from the Kingdom of Sicily and crowned himself as its king.
In the East, powers such as the Despotate of Epirus are keenly observing the instability in Sicily, poised to seize any advantage that may arise from the chaos. Meanwhile, the small Italian communes are caught in the political crossfire, aligning themselves with one side of the conflict or the other based on the prevailing political party in power and their vested interests. These shifting allegiances turn the Italian peninsula into a powder keg, where all-out war seems inevitable.
As the shadows of history close in around Conradin, the world watches with bated breath. Will he emerge triumphant, his name forever etched in the annals of Sicilian glory as the rightful king who defied insurmountable odds, toppling both the Pope and the usurper? Or will he, in his valiant struggle, become a tragic figure, a symbol of lost opportunities and shattered dreams? The future of Sicily hangs in the balance, and Conradin's destiny remains uncertain, poised on the precipice of history.
Continue, author. It is clear that you love your vision and do your best to write it despite the lack of support and comments. I really love people who are like you and passionate about what they love. Unlike these authors, they have no story, no goal, or anything. They just increase the number of harems and increase profits and ratings with ease despite literary failure For the book. But I hope that financial support will come to you, because you deserve thanks for reading the comment.
You will cry when you read history. You will smile when you read history. You will get angry when you read history. You will laugh when you read history. This is how history is It does not wait for anyone, does not have mercy on anyone, and does not spare anyone. This is the beauty of history. There are stories that will not tire you of reading it.📜
One of the best historical novels on the platform, hands down. The plot development and historical detail are next to none. The battles and political intrigue are also well done. Only criticism is that the writing quality can be a bit below my personal preference, and the novel could probably benefit from an editor to just clean it up a bit. Other than that it's been a great read that I would recommend to anyone who's a fan of history or wants a change of pace from the typical fast-paced, zero to hero, little attention payed to world building or character development kind of plot lines that infest this platform (not saying those are always bad).p.s. it can be a little bit slow in bits, which I personally don't mind much
story of rising eagle! recommended for fans of history and those who enjoy good Webnovel.

A very good novel author, keep going. I like the fact that you put quotes in the beginning of the chapters. Long live to 🇮🇹 from 🇪🇸 brothers.
It is a great novel and It is different one, there is no transmigration or modern knowledge and that makes a unique novel
A good alternative history with a good frequency with a very well done world building that shows various views of history and the impact of different actions.
I'm writing this review cause the author spoke to me, through what I can't possibly describe in words. so here's a GIF instead <3
