Royal family (2)

As the royal family emerged from the confines of the dungeon, they were momentarily blinded by the brilliant rays of the sun, prompting them to shield their eyes with their hands. Their gazes adjusted gradually to the intense brightness, and as they did, they were met with the warm embrace of sunlight. Completely opposite  to the cold, damp cells they were forced to call  home for an agonizing year. This sudden burst of natural light felt like a long-awaited liberation, rekindling their spirits and reminding them of the world they had longed to return to.

For twelve long months, they had endured the harsh conditions of their confinement, cut off from fresh air and the rejuvenating touch of the sun. Now, as they stood in its glow, they couldn't help but be overwhelmed with gratitude for the simple yet profound gift of freedom.
