Food shortage and banditry

Count Corrado Capece found himself in his temporary quarters, surrounded by maps, reports, and strategic documents. He had been working tirelessly, assessing the situation in the southern kingdom and keeping a watchful eye on both his own forces and those of the French king, who had recently arrived in Naples.

As he scrutinized reports from his spies and scouts, Corrado couldn't shake the growing sense of unease. The French king's arrival with a formidable army posed a significant threat to their efforts. Corrado knew that time was of the essence; he needed to make swift decisions to safeguard their position in the region.

The knock on his chamber door interrupted his thoughts, and without hesitation, he granted entry to whoever knocked  Abraham. Corrado's brows furrowed as he awaited more  news from the field.
