Vassalage ceremony (1)

(Hey guys before you read I want to tell you that I made a mistake in the previous chapter and that I modified the end a little bit, so in case you do not want to get confused I suggest reading the end again)

As promised by the King , three days after the grand reward ceremony, the time had come for the army to disband and return to their homes. It was a momentous occasion, and the soldiers, now laden with the symbols of valor and pouches heavy with rewards, prepared for their journey.

The army, once a unified force on the battlefield, now divided itself into squads based on their regions of origin. These squads would serve as a source of mutual support and help on the journey back to their respective villages and towns. Many soldiers found solace in the company of their fellow comrades, especially those from the same regions.
