In a dark and Rocky cave like chamber, which was only brighten by the light that came from the moon, giving the cave a beautiful yet eerily atmosphere.
A red haired girl came rushing and panting as if she was being chased by the demons.
"My Queen-" The girl started, pausing to catch her breath.
"The stone, my queen….it suddenly glowed." She cried.
The shadow like figure seated behind the water fall, that poured from the rocky top above, did not react at all to the news the panting girl gave.
The girl stood still with her head buried down, waiting for a command to execute. But confusingly none came.
The red haired girl lifted her head in puzzlement, her brows squinted and lips agape from being about to rant again.
"Ottilia, are you sure of what you just said?" A female voice danced calmly through the water fall.
"Yes, my queen. I can never speak gibberish."
Another puzzling quietness came right after. Ottilia wondered what the queen was thinking. The matter on ground was serious and she was just sitting quietly?
"Should I?..."
"You will do nothing, ottilia." The queen imposed with authority.
"But, my queen…" Ottilia looked worried as she settled her gaze on the blurry view of the queen's back.
"I said, nothing! Ottilia. Do you understand?"
"I do, my Queen." She conceded in a low tone.
"Fate has taken a leap this time."
She heard the queen say.
"Is the nothing to hold it back for a while?" Ottilia queried.
"He knows what he is doing, but yet still, he does not." The queen divulged calmly.
"My queen, I do not understand." Ottilia confessed her confusion.
"You do not need to understand, it will come naturally. Like you know, it is not yet the time."
"Then why…the stone?" Ottilia cluttered.
"It is only a warning against the beginning." The queen implored.
"So from here on we can't tell?"
"That depends ottilia."
"If the future chose the present to take it's course, who are we to stop it?" The queen conceited.
Ottilia nodded at the queen's words, but pure worry shone in her midnight blue irises.
"Go keep an eye on the stone, if something massive happens do let me know." The queen ordered.
"Okay, My Queen." Ottilia offered a bow before scuttling away.
The nonchalant front the queen had put on was now replaced with a squint of her silver brows. "Please be careful." She mumbled with an unfathomable expression.
. . .
On the way with the man Hermione speculated to be a guard, she wondered if they were going to trekk to the castle.
"Mmm excuse me?"
The man didn't react but she knew he was listening so she continued. "Are we going to reach by foot?"
"Yes." He simply replied.
What?!
Hermione's eyes went wide in horror.
"...Why is that?" She blinked rapidly, pulling herself together.
"His Highness said it is for you." The man revealed.
Hermione nodded thoughtfully. She understood it now. It was because of the villagers and their rumours. She imagined them seeing her going into a royal carriage, their next words are going to be branding her a prostitute.
Sigh, she didn't have any privacy in her life and it irked her a little.
Not long after following the man guidance, Hermione sighted the tall and mighty structure of the kingdoms castle. It was indeed big and grand. The round and tall walls surrounding it, with four heavily armored guards, guarding the entrance. It had tight security. No matter how smart of powerful one could be, they could never get passed this gate, be it to go out or come in. It was almost impossible.
When they arrived at the gate, the man beside her brought out a pass that was reviewied carefully by the guards before letting them pass.
"Is that really needed, are you not one of them?" Hermione, being her curious self had to ask.
"It is, Miss." He left his reply short like always.
"Why is that?"
"Avalon is not only filled with humans Miss, the creatures out there have abilities you can not imagine." The guard gave a lengthy reply this time.
Hermione nodded in understanding.
The man led her into what seemed like a waiting room before leaving. Telling her to wait for a minute. She marvelled at the beautiful insight of the castle. The spacious environment and tall ceilings which was decorated with huge chandeliers that were heavily lit with candles.
The designated candelabras on the walls spoke majesty. The seats were all elegantly carved with gold same with the painting of the walls. It was lovely, only to think that this was nothing but only a small part of the big castle.
"This way to His Highness, Miss." The guard came calling, snatching her attention from the intricate beauty she had indulged herself in.
Hermione quickly followed the man through a path that led them to the outside, but it was still located in the castle. They were approaching a garden, and it was enchantingly pretty.
Hermione did not hold back her smile as she passed by the colourful flowers, brushing them with her fingers.
"Your Highness!"
Hermione heard the guard say as she looked away from the beautiful flower that she held.
"Your Highness." She acknowledged as she bowed in curtsey.
Servyn took large strides towards her. "You are welcome Hermione." He said with a wide smile that exposed his canines.
"You can leave, Zolan." He said to the guard who had brought her.
The man bowed before leaving.
"I hope he took care of you well?" Servyn queried as he started to walk further with Hermione following him by his side.
"He was good to me." She blandly stated.
"Hmmm someone got himself a reward." He asserted with a playful smirk.
Hermione did not ask much, she knew he was talking about the man he referred to as Zolan earlier. And it did not bother her, the reason for the reward.
She followed him deeper into the garden, which looked more equisite from the outside. For a minute she could not believe that a part of her was grateful she was here to see this.
They suddenly came Infront of a gazebo, it was set up beautifully. What a nice place to have dinner. Hermione thought.
When they got closer, she noticed two men who were seated underneath the gazebo. She wondered if they were joining them for dinner.
"Hermione, this is korden and Cesarean." Servyn introduced respectively.
"Good evening My Lords." Hermione greeted with a small bow.
"Evening Lady Larabee." Cesarean was the one who spoke.
While korden did not even react.
Hermione felt some kind of weird vibe from the two men seated there, it was the kind she got from servyn the first time she came across him.
Her gaze lingered to the one who was introduced to be korden. He had crimson red hair with sharp green eyes.
She glanced over at Cesarean. The man had platinum blonde hair with a silverish blue eyes.
Hermione could not help but look at Servyn again.
The three men had such unreal beauty which made them look like they were related but the different features the possessed said otherwise. They are different in some kind of way, a kind of way Hermione could not quite properly decipher.
Suddenly she felt a glare on her, she turned over to see korden glaring at her with a gaze full of contempt.
