Lily's Confession

"This is the third time I've come to your house." Lily said, protecting her wound.

"Three times? I remember this being the second time!" Brian was startled by this sentence.

"Come to see you once."

"Is that why there's a letter on my desk?" Brian rubbed his forehead. "Luckily I didn't open it; I swear it must be your gauntlet."

"No, it's a love letter." Lily's words made Brian freeze, and she immediately showed a mean smile, saying, "But it's not mine; it's a friend of mine."

"fortunately."

"What is luck?" Lily was about to go mad.

"It's nothing; wait a minute; I'll get the bandages." Brian quickly changed the subject and ran to his closet.

"If I tell you my friend's name, you won't be scared to death." Lily shook her head and sighed.

"Have you seen enough?" Lily was now topless, with only her black underwear left.

"Damn it, if it wasn't for the wind blowing around you, I would have already done it!" Brian finally got angry.

"It's not my fault!" Lily's ability is to control the wind, so she will unconsciously collect the wind around her just in case.

"Phew, finally, put on your shirt." Brian put the bandages and scissors into the red and white medical box, pressed the button, and the medical box closed. He then sat in the chair behind Lily. "Turn around and say, Why did they kill you?"

Lily was obviously confused but turned away anyway, looking directly at Brian.

"The reason is." Brian repeated.

"I see; I know about the artificial man." Lily's words made Brian's eyes wobble a little.

"Be more specific; if I can understand it, I will kill myself." Brian's tone returned from seriousness to familiarity to playfulness.

"Okay, here it is. I was waiting for my driver on the street, and then I heard footsteps behind me in the back of the store, but I knew it was a sound that I must not go to hear."

"Then you went over and listened; you are really courting death."

She was not irritated by Brian's words but laughed a few times, saying, "Yeah, I wondered where I got the courage at that time. All in all, I passed, but I'm not a fool; I drifted past."

"You've become a ghost; don't come near me."

"Haha, no, I used the wind as a skateboard to float over, and then I found out that a man in a suit was being tortured to extract a confession."

"Hey, don't talk nonsense; that's not how 'torture to extract a confession' is used."

"Then the man had a log in his mouth."

"Then I retract the previous sentence."

"Well, I continued, I couldn't see the faces of those who forced him to confess, and then it seemed that the lamp on my head betrayed me, so I simply surrounded me with the wind and fooled them with parallax gone."

"What's the meaning?"

"Look." As soon as Lily finished speaking, her hair began to fly upwards, and after a few seconds, she became completely transparent.

"Fuck!" Brian stood up in shock, finally showing an expression on his face.

"That's it." Lily returned to her original state and smiled smugly.

"And what about you? Just run away?" He sat back in the chair.

"I was flying to the roof."

"Smart, but you still don't see those hooligans." Brian made a mocking expression.

"I was so flustered!" Lily blushed with anger.

"If you were panicked, you wouldn't choose to fly to the roof."

"Do you know what instinct is?" Lily's nose was only a centimetre away from Brian's face, and they could hear each other's breathing.

"What are you doing?" Jackson knocked on the door twice after he finished.

"Ah, sorry, no, when did you open the door?" Brian turned around in fright, only to see the door open and Jackson in a white vest and blue jeans, a black jacket, a white T-shirt, and black trousers. Alicia just stood outside the door and watched them fight.

"If you have a friend who sneaks into other people's homes, what door can't you open?" Jackson gave a mean smile and didn't stop until Alicia stabbed him in the back with the key.

"What's the matter? Also, sit on the floor for me." Brian said, and Lily acted as he did.

"Lily Potter, please tell us exactly what you just said." Alicia said.

Lily repeats what she said to Brian: Jackson is lost in thought, and so is Alicia."

"Wearing a suit... looks like we're going to be targeting some big companies," Jackson said.

"But why are they making artificial humans?" Alicia questioned.

"We'll have to check this." Jackson smiled regretfully.

They discussed various possibilities later, all of which were rejected by themselves, and the most ridiculous thing happened: they fell asleep!
