Mason moved my hair onto my shoulder as he put the necklace onto my neck. My hand moved to feel the diamond, feeling like the most special girl in the world right now.
"It looks really good on you angel." Angel...his angel.
"Now, come John, let's go meet her parents." Mason's mom grabbed onto to her dress and looped her arm through her husbands and went to introduce themselves to my foster parents.
"Your parents...wow wow wow." I pulled him in for a hug and kissed him.
"She suits him you know." I heard one of the workers say. A slight blush started to come across my face, I really do hope that I do.
. . . . .
It's now been about an hour and this dinner is going amazing. His parents are really nice and also EXTREMELY rich. His dad owns his own company and it's very successful. The plan is that Mason inherits some of the company but he hasn't told them yet that he wants to become a chef.
"So how did our son end up even winning over you?" His mom asked.
"Well, he knows how to tell a girl exactly what she needs and wants and I was attracted to that. It got me interested in the idea of me and him." His hand began to massage my thighs under the table.
"Taught him well." His dad said laughing. "What do you want to do when you're older?"
"I want to do something in law. I want to help people and I'm not a blood person so law seemed like an ok path." I replied.
"A lawyer and a businessman. That's honestly a perfect match!" His mom cheered. Actually a chef and a lawyer but that's not my place to speak.
"Match made in heaven, if you ask me." Mason muttered as he shoved food into his mouth. He turned over to me and began studying me as he always does, his eyes look so vulnerable and almost in...in love? Too far! But eh, I don't think it's too crazy right?
Mason's POV
Throughout this dinner, my eyes were far from focused on what my parents were saying. My focus throughout was diverted on Liana. This whole dinner was top tier but I didn't want it to be, this formal. My parents always tend to go all out to really showcase, 'yes we are rich, richer than you'll ever be'. I just didn't think that they would for this? I mean I told them to let things be normal so that vibe isn't on how exceedingly rich they are but that's already been done. Everyone seems to be getting along though, or at least what I've gathered when I'm not gazing at her.
I looked at Liana, she always would be the most beautiful woman I've ever seen but, tonight. Her spell was unbelievably irresistible. I could feel my growing boner that thankfully could be hidden under the table. I hope she realises how special she is, I breathed in her scent. She always smelt of this enticing perfume, even when she wasn't there, I could still feel her scent on me. She has me practically addicted, does she feel the same way? Does she know that my feelings for her go beyond just what she looks like? She's the most enchanting person I've met, but, her personality...every time I hear her voice, no matter if she speaks angry words to me it moves me. Though I've known my Angel, a small amount of time, she's the thing that makes me want to even do anything. Julianna Ash, I think I love you. I'm so sorry.
I'm sorry because I see a future with you in it, and I see fear once you find it all out. I'm sorry that one day, you'll become scared of me, so scared and intimidated that I'll never hold you again. You'll never see me the same again, when the truth catches up to me. I'm so sorry love. I'm so sorry...
. . . . .
Julianna's POV
"We should do this again sometime. Sophie, Nick, you've raised a really great girl. I'm glad my son found you." Mason's Mom said as she dragged me into a hug. She pulled away and smiled.
"You two really suit each other, thanks for giving this guy a chance." His Dad joked. He does a lot of that, I've picked that up from the amount of, 'how'd you manage to get this girl', comments.
We waved to each other before leaving but Mason looked kind off down? He didn't look exactly the best and I was not sure what had happened. The dinner had gone pretty good and nothing bad had happened, his parents loved me and my foster parents already like him. As we made our way home, I started to text Mason.
