Christoph and Evelyn finished their cloth selection, and suddenly, the lady said, "You lack a watch."

While holding the bags in his hands, the young man nodded and replied, "I will buy it after I have earned something. These things are too costly as it is."

Evelyn smiled and said, "Fine, Mr. Self Reliant, you can return the money when you get the salary. I cannot have the new general manager move around without a decent wristwatch. That is bad publicity."

Christoph thought about it and nodded. The two walked inside the showroom of a luxury brand called Class. Evelyn said, "Class designs elegant and minimalist watches. They have been in the business for the past three centuries. This watch brand still stands out in the advanced world where people chase advanced technology."

As she was speaking, they came to the counter. The attendant on the other side was a pretty young lady. She was stunned when she found two charming guests walking inside the shop. However, she woke up when Evelyn cleared her throat.

She greeted them quickly, "Greetings, Sir, Madam. I apologize for earlier. I am Simone. Welcome to Class"

Evelyn smiled, nodded gently to the lady, and asked, "Can you suggest a few watches for this young man?"

Simone nodded and said, "Please come over here, Sir."

The two followed her to a glass cabinet where seven watches were placed. Simone said, "These are the latest additions to the Class Sin collection. The five watches are designed with the seven sins in mind. They are designed by the famous designer Carla Maroni. If you fancy any of them, please select, and I will introduce you to the model."

Evelyn nodded and gazed at the watches. They all had a black strap, regardless of the material. The casing and the inside of the dial were varying colors and themes. After a rough look, the lady pointed at a watch with a metallic black strap and a golden rim.

Simone smiled and said, "This watch represents the Sin of Pride. The black strap with golden glint is a natural compound, gold star steel. It is one of the rarest materials on the planet. The watch glass is a high-quality Sapphire Crystal, completely scratch resistant.

The entire watch machinery is made from gold star steel as well. The dial is embedded with twelve black obsidians contrasting the golden watch face. The needles are black as well. They simmer down the shine of the golden face, making the watch a perfect representation of Pride."

Evelyn nodded and said, "I want to buy this one."

She then turned to look at Christoph and asked, "Do you fancy anything else?"

The young man was gazing at a watch in the glass casing. Following his gaze, Simone said, "This watch is made with the sin of rage in mind. The entire watch is cast from one piece of tungstela, one of the hardest materials in the world. The machinery is made with the same and held together with the diamond pins.

The glass is crystallized at high pressure from diamond dust. It is bulletproof and fire-resistant. The watch is waterproof to a thousand psi. In a nutshell, this thing was made to conquer all that a watch was supposed to be afraid of. This is also the most costly watch of the series."

Evelyn nodded and said, "I will take this too. Here."

She handed out a red card to Simone, who was shocked but reacted quickly to initiate the transaction. Red Card belonged to the biggest bank in the world. Although every second person holds a red card these days, few people have one without a number.

Surprised, Christoph asked, "Pioneer Bank?"

Evelyn nodded and replied, "Yes, owned and operated by Thorns."

Surprised, Christoph asked, "Thorns are also the circle member?"

Christoph nodded in acceptance. The two walked up to the counter to collect the merchandise, and Evelyn took out the Pride watch from the box and tied it around his wrist silently. Surprised, The young man cringed slightly when the lady said, "Stay still, Chris."

The young man froze, and Evelyn tied the watch carefully and said, "Now you look like a white-collar big shot."

The guy shook his head, looked at Simone, and said, "Miss, wrap up that watch symbolizing the Sin of Lust for the lady."

Evelyn was surprised, and Christoph said, "This is my gift. I will pay you back the money."

That said, he left the place. The black watch with a slender strap and a small pink dial was alluring and suitable for women. Evelyn did not expect him to do something like this.

She collected the stuff and walked out of the store, leaving behind Sophie, who was in a daze, counting what she had earned. She just made one million in commissions by the company rules of ten percent commission over the sale of goods worth five million.

Christoph and Evelyn were headed to their accommodation when the young man received a message on his mobile. After reading the content of the message, he smiled and said, "Melvin, we are heading back to the company."
