Chapter 30, Moving to Qingyuan Town

Li Jain channeled his energy into Tian Wen's body and found out that the reason why he couldn't cultivate was because his dantian was blocked. The fact that his entire spiritual system was in a state of imbalance was probably due to the very same blockage.

Li Jain carefully  adjusted the flow of spiritual energy through Tian Wen's body as best he could.  It was a bit of an effort with the amount of spiritual energy he had been expanding on the child, but at least it wasn't as bad as it should be since he was using a secret technique.

During the process, Tian Wen had his face scrunched up in discomfort  as he was enduring the pain of Li Jain's spiritual energy being forced through his body. He tried not to make any noises so as to keep from disturbing Li Jain's concentration.

As Li Jain was trying to push his energy through Tian Wen, he could feel Tian Wen tensing up as much as his young body could physically take, though this didn't seem too strenuous for him. Tian Wen's skin seemed almost translucent under the blue glow from Li Jain's palm.

His parents were also watching nervously. When Tian Wen's pale face changes to a comfortable one, they breathe a sigh of relief.

When the process was over, Tian Wen couldn't stand it anymore and passed out. Aunty Tian hurriedly held on to her son.

"Don't worry, he's okay." Li Jain reassured them with a smile, "It just takes some time for all these spiritual energies to fully circulate throughout his body."

"Thanks, young master Li. We don't know how to repay you in this life." Aunty Tian bowed down in respect.

"No need. I'm the one who's repaying the favor." Li Jain waved off their gratitude, "Here is a suitable cultivation method for him. When he wakes up, take him to the village chief to test his aptitude." Li Jain as he passes a small green cover book to them.

"Thank you again, young master Li. Have a safe journey."

"Just call me Li Jain. I'm no longer a young master." He laughed as he walked away.

 ...

After leaving the Tian family residence, Li Jain went to the town's market.  The marketplace area was a large square, surrounded by many buildings and streets with stalls. In front of his eyes, there was a vendor selling vegetables, meat, and seafood.

As Li Jain walked through the market, he went to the shops that sell horse carriages. He visited each shop and inspected the carriages they had on display. He checked the quality of the materials used, the condition of the carriage, and the price.

After comparing the different options, Li Jain found a carriage that met his requirements. He negotiated the price with the seller. "How much is this horse carriage?"

"30 gold coins. The horse is already at the 1st level. If you want a normal carriage, the 1st level will cost 10 gold coins." The merchant said.

With that, Li Jain gave his money to the merchant then left the stall.  After buying the horse carriage, he rode on the horse carriage home.

When he arrived home, it was already late and the children went to bed early. Li Jain put the carriage into his space and decided to arrange things for tomorrow.

...

Jing Sheng was a little depressed that he wasn't able to weaken his bloodline today. He'd always thought that with him being the oldest of the triplets, it was his  responsibility to get stronger and protect them. But if he's the weak one that ends up needing protection, how shameful would it be? Therefore; Jingsheng decided to double his training. If the others are training hard, then he must train twice as much.

While the others were asleep, he sat on the bed to meditate. The room was filled with silence. All there is is the faint sound of Jing Sheng's breath, and the rustling of sheets. Jing Sheng closed his eyes, letting his mind wander away. But, after many tries, he failed to concentrate.

Just when Jing Sheng was beginning to feel annoyed, A smell of something burning drift into his nose . In his trancelike state, he didn't notice it at first. When he did realize it was coming from the bedsheets,  he jumped out from his seat. "Brother Cheng, brother Zhang, wake up. The bed is on fire." He yelled out to the brothers, who were still sleeping peacefully in their beds.

Both of them stirred awake. Seeing the smoke,   Li Zhang, who was in a half awaken state, quickly ran into the kitchen and grab two buckets of water. When he got back to the room, he poured the entire bucket of water on Jing Xuan who had flames all over him still laying in bed.

The sudden shock of cold water woke him up. After getting soaked by the cold water, Jing Xuan instantly sat upright with a start and looked around bewilderedly. "Brother Zhang, you idiot! Do you want to kill me by pouring water in my nose?" Jing Xuan angrily scolded.

"What's with your flames in the middle of the night? Are you trying to burned your brothers to death?" Li Zhang scold back with anger.

"What do you mean? If it wasn't for the fact that when I woke up to pee and saw a giant shadow on the wall, how would I have gone to bed with fear?" Jing Xuan retorted.

"Xuan, are you not able to.control the flames?" Jing Sheng asked worriedly. His concern was not misplaced. After all, if Jing Xuan isn't able to control his flames, then that means it's more likely to burn things again while they were asleep.

"If I know, I wouldn't be standing here without close." Jing Xuan point to his clothes that were burnished by the flames. Whenever the flames come out, the first thing that got burned is his clothes.

"Well, this is troublesome." Li Cheng sighed, now that this has happened, none of them would go to sleep trusting Jing Xuan flames to be retained!

"Maybe you shouldn't have awaken your bloodline today. If it wasn't for Sheng who wasn't asleep but instead just meditating, we would have been roasted by tomorrow." Li Zhang said  bitterly.

"Roasted meat doesn't sound bad." Jing Xuan said while drooling. He has no resistance when it comes to food.

"Yes, your meat must taste especially good!" Jing Sheng snapped

Li Jain who was in the space arranging things hear the noise and quickly came out.

Seeing what had occurred, he sighed and shook his head before turning to Jing Xuan. "You guys will sleep with me tonight. When we go to Qingyuan town tomorrow, I'll buy fire prevention clothes for Xiao Xuan."

The children nodded and happily followed Li Jain to his room. After all, they wouldn't sleep in the wet bed.

...

Early the next morning, Li Jain got up and prepared breakfast. He made porridge for everyone to eat, along with some   fruit and eggs. After they finished eating and washing dishes, they packed everything up. Li Jain took out the horse carriage from his space. "Get on, it's time to go."

After everyone was settled, Li Jain went ahead to get on his horse. He turned to look at the children. They all seemed to be in high spirits.

Li Jain at their rotten old house and sighed. Since he came to this world, he'd been living in this house for a month now.  But even so, he felt that this old house had done its part and now they're moving forward and probably won't be back.

Although it was still early in the morning, most villagers had already woken  up and started their daily day's business. Soon, Li Jain's carriage passed by, making them stop for a moment.

"Who is it?" One of the older women called out curiously. Her face is covered with wrinkles and she looks like an elder.

"It's the Li family moving." Another villager answer

"The Li family are really moving to Qingyan town." Said a villager

"Yeah, all this is like a dream to  me."

"That horse is not an ordinary horse. And horses that can level up are very expensive even if their quality is low."

"We are talking about the Li family that didn't have anything to eat just yesterday."

"If I knew they'd turn out like this, I would have treated them better."

"Now, It's Tian family that enjoys this special blessing."

The village stopped what they were doing and discussed the Li Jain family. But it's too late, because the Li family won't be back to this again.
