Jing Xuan felt embarrassed when he realized that the flames didn't harm him and he was making a fault of nothing. Along with Li Zhang's laughter, he felt even more embarrassed as both of them continued to have a blast at his expense.
"Xiao Zhang, it's your turn next." Li Jain called out to Li Zhang who was still teasing his brother.
"OK" Li Zhang replied cheerfully. After taking off his robes, he stood on one leg and extended the other towards the tub in front of him.
After watching Jing Xuan's experience, Li Zhang was both excited and nervous at the same time.
He sat in the medicine bath and Li Jain poured the medicine liquid into the bathtub. He could feel a slight chill coming from the cold water, but once again, there was no discomfort or discomfort that made him think about stepping back out. He closed his eyes and relaxed himself as he waited for it to cool down.
Li Zhang unknowingly started to absorb the medicine and slowly, he found a sense of comfort and calmness enveloping him. He felt warm. The sensation was something different than the feeling after consuming the medicine before, although it was similar enough.
Just as everyone was watching intensely, they saw how Li Zhang had his eyebrows knitted together as if thinking hard about something. Then suddenly, A large shadow, an illustration of a person with a huge hammer in hand appeared behind Li Zhang. As the silhouette grew larger, the hammer became bigger and bigger until the silhouette was completely visible.
Li Jain opened his eyes and revealed an amused expression. The water around Li Zhang returned to its clear color as the medicine had been absorbed.
"Did you see the figure behind brother Zhang?" Juanxin asked excitedly. "It wasn't just my imagination right? There really was a giant hammer there?"
"Of course not." Jing Shang answered, "How can you imagine it when it's still there?"
The shadow illustration of the giant human figure stood guard behind Li Zhang like some kind of mythical beast that has come to protect its master.
"What is that thing? It looks scary ." Juanxin commented, looking quite uneasy at the image.
"It shouldn't be a bad thing since it was awakened by brother Zhang, right?" Jing Xuan smiled reassuringly but was also unease.
"There is nothing to worry about. This is Li Zhang Guardian spirit beast, and he has successfully awakened it." Spirit is a manifestation of your inner desire. If it's awakened, then it will guide you towards a better path
Li Zhang was successfully awakened. He awakens a manifest guardian spirit that will guide him towards a better path and will appear behind him during battles to increase his potential. This is called Awakening Spirit Guardian. When he awakens it, the spiritual pressure on the practitioner will be increased. In other words, the spiritual pressure will get stronger. It is considered an extremely rare event since most people only receive their own spirits. However, Li Zhang succeeded because of his unique physique.
After Li Zhang awakened, Li Jain prepared two more medicine baths for Li Cheng and Jing Sheng. But the two of them didn't awaken due to the insufficient amount of energy to fully awaken. Li Jain sighed and said he'll prepare another one for them.
"We'll be moving to Qingyuan town tomorrow. You guys should do what you have to and have an early rest. We're leaving first thing tomorrow morning." Li Jain said.
The children nodded their heads enthusiastically , their eyes brightened by excitement.
"We're finally ready to move." Jing Sheng said exactly. After learning that he'll go to school when they move to Qingyuan town, he had been looking forward to it since then.
"Father, is the remodeling of your shop done yet?" Li Cheng said in a low voice.
"Yes, I made some changes and expansion to it. You guys are going to love it." Li Jain responded.
"Then we'll have to thank daddy for his hard work." Li Cheng stated.
Li Jain laughed and said, "No need for thanks. I did it all for you, so there's no need for thanks. It's very spacious for the size of our family."
Juanxin, who had been listening quietly, chimed in as he spoke, "You've worked really hard, dad. You really deserve the praise."
"I'm going to the Tian family, I'll be back in a while." Li Jain said as he walked out of the house.
Li Jain also thought he should go.to town later to buy a horse carriage. He needs to get a new horse carriage soon to avoid the hassle of walking around on foot. He could carry two children in his hands and use the wind talisman, but they were five. Even if he puts one on his back, he won't be able to carry all of them together.
After a few minutes of walking, Li Jain arrived at the Tian family house. All the houses in the village had small fences around them. And everyone has to go through the gate to enter the house. Li Jain thought maybe they did it to protect their privacy from outside eyes.
Knock, knock, knock. the repeated knocking sounded on the door. Someone opened the door to let Li Jain in.
"Young master Li, you're here." Uncle Tian opened the door and welcomed him inside. Li Jain smiled and responded, "Hello Uncle Tian. Is your wife here?"
The Tian husband and wife were in their early fifties. Therefore it was right for Li Jain who was in his early twenties to call them uncle and aunt.
"She's in the kitchen." Uncle Tian informed and left the room to lead Li Jain to where she was cooking something.
"Honey, young master Li is here." Uncle Tian announced. The sound of the spoon hitting the porcelain plate echoed through the kitchen.
"Ah, I'll be there in a moment." Aunty Tian's voice came out from the kitchen and walked out to see Li Jain. She wore a long dark blue robe. Her hair tied up in two loose braids hanging behind her back. "Welcome to my humble household young master Li. Would you like a cup of tea?"
Li Jain nodded his head slightly. "Thank you. I've come today to tell you that my family will be moving to Qingyuan town tomorrow morning."
"Oh," Aunty Tian said. "That's great news. I'm glad you decided to make Qingyuan town your home. This village is too backwards to hold young talents like your family."
"You've taken really good care of my family during this time. I'm very grateful to you." Li Jain expressed his sincerity and honesty.
Aunty Tian smiled widely, "Please stop it with these formalities, young master Li. The children are good kids. I'm glad that I was able to help them."
"Thanks again for everything you've done for us Auntie Tian." Li Jain thanked politely. "I'm here today to return a small favor. Where's your son?"
"Ah, he's in the room studying. Should I call him?" Aunty Tian asked and Li Jain nodded.
After calling, a child wearing a gray outfit appeared in front of Li Jain. Tian Wen bowed in greeting at Li Jain.
"Uncle Li, are you here to look for me?" Tian Wen greeted Li Jain.
Li Jain patted Tian Wen on the shoulder and said, "Tian Wen, do you have any desire of becoming a cultivator?"
"Of course." Tian Wen said. "I've always wanted to cultivate, but my talent is inferior and the village chief said I won't be able to walk the path of cultivation in this life." Tian Wen admitted.
"Don't be discouraged, as long as you're willing to work hard; there'll always be a way. It won't be difficult at all to become a cultivator. You just need perseverance and patience."
"Really?" Tian Wen's eyes lit up.
"I can make you be able to cultivate right now. But it won't be easy, so bear with the pain."
"OK," Tian Wen was so excited that could care less about pain. He was only focused on the possibility of being able to cultivate.
