Chapter 32, House Warming

Li Jain got up from the horse and opened the metal gate to his  new home. The children immediately got out of the carriage excitedly and entered the yard in a swarm.  They were stunned when  they noticed how huge the house was.  It was a two story building and as large  as several houses put together, and all made of stone and brick.   The exterior design of Li Jain home is truly awe-inspiring. As they approached the entrance, they were greeted by a grand, white stone archway that is embellished with intricate gold details. The archway is flanked by two tall, ornate stone pillars that create a sense of grandeur and majesty.

As they step through the archway, they are immediately struck by the tranquil atmosphere that surrounds them. The exterior of the restaurant is decorated with beautiful plants and flowers, which add a natural and calming touch to the space. The garden is also adorned with traditional Chinese lanterns, which give the space a magical and enchanting feel.

The house architecture is inspired by traditional Chinese design, with curved roofs and multiple tiers. The use of natural materials such as stone and wood, further enhances the restaurant's connection to nature and spirituality.

Overall, the exterior design of Li Jain home is a perfect reflection of the combination of traditional Chinese design, natural materials, and beautiful plants, creating a harmonious and peaceful atmosphere that immediately transports you to a different world. 

"This place is elegant and breathtaking. It's like stepping into the heart of Nature itself." Li.Zhang commented with an amazed look on her face. 

"Who knows that there could be a place like this in Qingyuan."

"You're right." Jing Sheng agreed. "It must have cost a fortune to build and maintain this place."

"This place is indeed impressive." Li Jain said with a smile. "I've already purchased this place and transformed it into what it is. And then I'll make sure that everyone will come here as well to relax and enjoy their meals."

"That's great." Jing Sheng  said with a smile

"Come on in. Let's go choose your rooms." 

 Li Jain said as he led them to the backyard. After opening the door, he took them upstairs. Unlike the first floor, the second floor has over ten small rooms. This could be seen that Li Jain has expanded the house.  He is quite fond of making space for each of his guests to sleep comfortably.  His guest rooms are furnished and furnished comfortably with all kinds of luxury items. The interior designer has been extremely thorough when it comes to his guests' accommodation. He had done a thorough job on making sure everyone's stay was comfortable and relaxing.

"Come on, one room can accommodate two people. You're free to choose your roommate." 

"I want to be roommates with daddy." Juanxin exclaimed happily.

"Sure, I also want to be roommates with Xiao Xin." Li Jain smiles and rubs Juanxin's hair fondly, while the latter smiles happily.

When the free choice of choosing a roommate was mentioned, the four children already had in mind who they wanted to share the room with. It would be so much fun sharing a bedroom with someone who has the same liking and interests as you, instead of the one that annoyed you. 

"I would like to share a room with Xuan Xuan." Li Zhang said after giving some thought.   

"I also have the same thought." Jing Xuan stated while looking at his older brother.

The others weren't surprised by the choice. Li Cheng nodded, "Then Sheng and I would share a room."

"It's my honor, brother Cheng." Jing Sheng replied.

"Do you have to be so formal about it?" Jing Xuan pouted  and rolled his eyes.

Jing Sheng frowned, "What does it have to do with you?"

Jing Xuan sighed loudly, "Nothing, nothing."

 "You made a good choice by staying with me, Xuan Xuan. If you had chosen any of them, I bet you'll live in boredom and misery the whole time you're staying here." Li Zhang chuckled and wrapped his arm around Jing Xuan's shoulders affectionately.

"Ok, cut it out. Choose the room you'll like to live in and settle in." Li Jain commanded and smiled.

They chose the rooms according to their likes and preferences. Each of the rooms has two beds with comfortable mattresses and the rooms are separated by a thin wall. When the children moved into the rooms, Jing Xuan went over to the other bed and plopped himself on it dramatically. After he had settled on his bed, he let out a loud yawn, stretched, and closed his eyes.

"Brother Zhang, this is the sign of good days ahead. Do you  feel it too?" Jing Xuan asked while still rolling around.

"Yeah,  I feel it too." Zhang replied. "The future looks bright."

"I hope that everything goes smoothly for us, and father."

"Don't worry. There will always be opportunities for us. We  won't just sit still during the day waiting for something to happen." Li Zhang added with confidence. "Not to mention that father has changed and he's very powerful now."

"Exactly. Father is a great master. I love his way of fighting, it makes it so simple." Jing Xuan grinned with anticipation.

Meanwhile, in the room opposite to them; 

"Brother Cheng, can I take the bed next to the window?" Jing Sheng asked.

He pointed his finger to a spot on the other bed near the window.

"No problem." Li Cheng nodded. "Just know that if someone happens to break in, you'll be the first person they will target."

"Brother Cheng knows how to joke." Jing Sheng laughed, not taking Li Cheng's words seriously.

While the children were settled into their new rooms, Li Jain went to the kitchen. There are some ingredients he needs to prepare before serving dinner tonight. First of all, he needs to cut up some dried meat for the steamed pork belly and dumplings. While preparing the beef buns, he  was interrupted by the sound of footsteps coming down the stairwell. He turned to see his son, Li Juanxin walking down the stairs.  

"Xiao Xin? Are you not sleepy? I think you should take a rest."  Li Jain said as he gave him a hug.

"I'm alright. I want to accompany you, daddy." Juanxin replied.

"Alright then, let me cook some dumplings first. Can you please wait in the kitchen while I prepare the dishes for you?"

Juanxin nodded and found a place to sit. He sat on a bench by the counter, watching Li Jain prepare the dish. "Daddy, did you spend lots of money buying this place?" Juanxin asked curiously.

"Of course I did. Your father is not stingy." Li Jain chuckled softly, "Don't you like it here?"

Juanxin shakes his head quickly, "I like this place. But I'm worried that the previous owner would come to claim the place once he sees us doing well here." 

Li Jain frowns, and it seems like Xi Han's shameless behavior has left a shadow on the child. The more he thinks about it, the more he feel like he should have beaten that guy more.

He wiped his hands and walked in front of Juanxin, held his small face, "Listen Xiao Xin, I've bought this place and had signed the necessary documents. No one will come to claim it in the future. Also, let daddy do the worrying for the family. All you need to do is to live happily, eat your fill and smile. Daddy loves it when you smile." 

"Really?" Juanxin smiles lovely.

"Yes, so smile more, ok?"

"Alright!" Juanxin promised seriously, making Li Jain chuckled.
