Venia furrowed her brow, her curiosity piqued. "I didn't expect her to be accompanying the city lord. There must be something significant about her."

"I've come here to take her with me, and I won't be leaving without her," Earth Life declared firmly.

The city lord sneered, her voice dripping with disdain. "Humph, you insolent child. How dare you act on behalf of your own mother's concubine!"
