Kai didn't need any type of weapon The weapon chamber didn't provide any guns and other modern weapons because they didn't seem to work after the catastrophe only medieval type weapons seemed to work. If you tried using a modern weapon in this world the weapon would have no reaction whatsoever guns wouldn't even fire no mother how much you press the trigger.
