Mary and Tona brothers aren't the only ones facing the sudden emergence of a new great fracture.
The Schutzeron Kingdom, the Oken Desert.
Here, the group of Tuben, Heijin, and the clan's enforcement knights were facing two commanders who had emerged from the new great fracture and a demon army.
"I never thought I'd see such a fierce battle after the Black Sea. Perhaps the patriarch had a reason to send us back."
"It hurts my pride to ask for support."
The new great fracture had formed shortly after the group of Tuben and Heijin had eliminated about half of the forces from the previous fracture. Just as they had decisively gained the upper hand by killing one commander and around twenty thousand demons, the sky turned purple and the shockwave of the great fracture spread.
"Who do you think will come? Tuben."
"Well... Maybe the 3rd flagbearer? I heard from the communication a while ago that the 1st flagbearer seemed a bit tired. She killed a commander in just a few minutes, so it's to be expected."
While Luntia had used the Brotherly stars in the first mission area to eliminate the great fracture, she was naturally in a relatively less exhausted state compared to Luna.
"For some reason, I feel like someone more familiar and welcoming will come."
As Heijin said that, two commanders from the True Demon World appeared within the newly formed great fracture.
They stood beside the remains of the last commander, gazing out at the battlefield.
"What, Ragar is dead?"
"Did those humans kill him? Hanalof."
The two commanders who had just emerged from the fracture, Bargo and Kaluga Limdeon Grosch, spoke.
They were the bloodline of Flek Kaluga, whom Luna had killed, and Sakiel Grosch.
As Hanalof nodded, Limdeon shook his head in a seemingly incomprehensible manner.
"I haven't heard anything about those two. Ah, the knights of Chiron Runcandel who returned a little while ago, right?"
"Regardless of their identities, they're not to be underestimated if they killed Ragar. Let's stay vigilant and face them properly."
In the meantime, the demon castle summoned from the great fracture began to spread over the Oken Desert.
The knights of Runcandel reorganized their formation, avoiding the rising buildings.
For this particular invasion, the True Demon World had purposely deployed several commanders and demon forces equivalent to them to the fractures scattered inland.
While the coastal areas could be easily conquered without sending commanders, the inland was a different story.
Especially the Oken Desert, which had the highest concentration of commanders among the inland areas.
The True Demon World's objective was to establish a foothold in the inland, starting with the Oken Desert.
They had already created the largest base in the coastal regions.
"Before we fight, I'd like to at least hear your names, human commanders. Speak, what are you called in the human world?"
Among the three commanders, the highest-ranking, Limdeon, stepped forward. The demon forces summoned with the castle had already surrounded the knights.
"Black Helmet."
"Black Helmet? Well, I guess I asked for no reason since I'll naturally find out once you're caught and punished. Attack!"
As Limdeon's command was issued, the demons charged forward, unleashing swords, magic, and projectiles.
"Runcandel, break through!"
"Understood!"
Led by Tuben and Heijin, the knights formed a breakthrough formation and let out a roar.
Runcandel's total strength consisted of two former Black Knights and five hundred enforcement knights.
The difference in numbers was exactly a hundredfold, but they charged without a hint of faltering. Instead, they seemed to be sweeping down the enemies as if slaughtering those who were cornered.
The demons also faced them without hesitation, their eyes filled with madness.
Whenever Tuben and Heijin swung their swords, a dozen or more demons fell before them, and the enforcement knights relentlessly swung their swords at the demons converging from the sides and the rear.
It was as if a purple river was surging forth.
Not just a metaphor, the flesh and blood of the slain demons were already flowing like a river.
"Indeed, you managed to kill Ragar. When the lower ones have worn down their stamina a bit, we'll strike all at once."
However, Limdeon's plan could not come true.
[Booooog—!]
Once again, a white dimensional gate opened in the sky, revealing the appearance of the Mort, for the same reason as before.
On the Mort were four individuals.
Syris Endorma, Zed Runcandel, Vanessa Olsen.
And Hedo.
Except for Syris, the other three jumped down to the ground and immediately swung their swords, causing a shockwave that briefly shook the entire battlefield.
Syris, this time too, moved to another area.
"Is everyone okay?"
Zed executed his meteor shower and spoke.
The superhuman's meteors, acquired by breaking through the Black Sea alone, continued to explode like fireworks, decimating the demons.
"Oh, it seems that more familiar people have arrived, just like Heijin said."
"I brought a stray cat that used to cheer us up from time to time in the gloomy Black Sea when we were young, friends."
Vanessa spoke.
Stray cat.
In his youth, when Hedo wandered the Black Sea, Chiron and the Black Knights had truly seen him that way.
Fierce and annoying, yet whenever they spent time together by chance, they could momentarily forget the desolation of the Black Sea.
"...Hey, Vanessa, are you really going to keep calling me 'Stray cat'?"
"Even if you became the Chief of Staff of the Vamel Alliance, in our memories, you'll always be the cute stray cat. So don't expect that it will change."
"Hehe, right."
"Oh, who's this? Isn't it the stray cat Hedo!"
"Still cute and friendly as ever."
The faces that were serious just a moment ago suddenly lit up. Tuben and Heijin burst into laughter as they looked at Hedo.
Though being called a stray cat was a bit embarrassing for Hedo, he was thankful for the opportunity to finally help his old friends in their time of need.
If he hadn't met Chiron and the Black knights in the Black Sea back then, Hedo would have lived his life as a beast until he died, never ascending to the world above.
He wouldn't have met Sandra Zipfel, who was more precious to him than his own life.
"Tuben, Heijin. You both seem tired. From now on, you can take it easy and support us."
"When the stray cat speaks, we have to listen."
"Ah, come on."
As the three suddenly appeared and immediately shifted the battlefield's atmosphere, the True Demon World's commanders couldn't help but show their displeasure.
"Still, Hanalof, you will be responsible to finish off previous ones. We two will handle the newly arrived ones."
From the commanders' perspective, it was a baffling situation that left them speechless, but they couldn't underestimate their capabilities.
Zed's meteor shower was already annihilating thousands of demons, and the demons attacking Vanessa were being wiped out by her swordsmanship without leaving a trace.
The sword energy emanating from Hedo's Boulder was rapidly creating a path toward the commanders.
Sword energy rained down like a tidal wave, battering the commanders' defenses.
With the alliance's top five powerhouses together, the ordinary demon forces numbering in the thousands held little significance.
To be impactful in this battle, one would need to at least be at the level of commander.
Since the commanders were interspersed among the demon forces, Zed decided to take them on all at once.
Hanalof against Tuben and Heijin, Bargo and Limdeon against Vanessa and Hedo.
A new battle composition took shape.
The commanders had no intention of retreating like Flek did. Conquering the Oken Desert was the primary objective of this war.
"All of us have fought and won countless battles, staking our lives against greater foes in the Black Sea. So, there's no need to feel bad just because you're facing defeat."

Back at sea, the True Demon World's largest base.
Sakiel maintained a composed expression as she watched the entire situation through the crystal orb, despite the tumultuous events unfolding.
'...After Shucheron, even the situation around the Oken Desert has turned out like this. I knew there would be many variables, but this is beyond my expectations.'
Jin and Murakan couldn't see the crystal orb, but they received real-time updates on the situation through the communication device from Kashmir.
Complete victory.
The outcome of the first Grand War was practically a complete victory. Most of the 'additional great fractures,' the True Demon World's secret weapons, had been destroyed.
Not all battlefields ended in victory. In some areas of the Empire and Huphester, the transfer of the True Demon World has been successfully completed.
It was impossible to block all newly appearing fractures in real-time.
However, major areas were successfully protected, and civilian casualties were minimized. They need to reclaim the taken land gradually through warfare.
"Well, it seems we've all understood the situation. Sakiel, if you still don't plan on summoning Paellito. I am about to make one final suggestion to you before leaving."
"Suggestion?"
"Yes, or you could call it a final warning. The content is simple and clear. The True Demon World should withdraw all fractures immediately and return to your lands to enjoy the same life as before."
"...You seem to be taking too much delight in this small victory. I refuse."
"Well, I didn't really expect otherwise; I just wanted to give it a try. Even if you demons retreat now, I can't leave any chance for unrest for the future generations. Who knows when you might threaten humanity again? But you know, it seems quite burdensome for you to deal with us."
"What are you suddenly talking about?"
"It's odd, isn't it? From your perspective, the Vamel Alliance is your enemy, and yet the leader and his Guardian Dragon came in the middle of enemies' strongholds. But you keep telling us to just go back. If it were me in the same situation, I would have tried to finish things off somehow."
Sakiel glared at Jin with tension. Jin responded with a sly smile.
"Before we go, let me give you a little present to deal with. Murakan!"
As Jin called his name, Murakan's appearance began to change unexpectedly. His pupils blazed like flames, and a pair of wings sprouted from his back.
It was the true form of Murakan that Jin had seen in the seventh tomb of Temar—his awakened state.
Sakiel clearly had her eyes open, yet she felt a bizarre sensation as if her vision suddenly went dark.
Ultimate technique of the Black Dragon
True Manifestation of Shadows
In the seventh tomb of Temar, Murakan didn't just regain his own memories. He also regained the ability to use his ultimate technique, a power he had forgotten for a long time.
Sakiel and the demons in the stronghold had no choice but to shudder in the face of the terrible darkness, just like the days when there was no artificial sun in the underground world.
