Secret Weapon

It's been a few years since the main reactor of the Shik civilization has been destroyed.

The war between them and Earthling had been raging in all parts of the galaxy. At the center was the two level 3 civilization, while their subordinates were doing the most of the war.

But little by little, everyone realized that the Shik civilization was on the losing side.

"Why are we losing?" asked the Shik president while hitting his desk with anger.

"We don't know what technology is this. It seems that they can attack us from a few light years away, we can't counter it. The time for us to arrive at their position, we will lose an important number of battleships." Replied one of his ministers.

The president was having a headache when he suddenly had an idea.

"Could we use that?" suddenly, the prime minister proposes an idea.

Everyone looked at him with horror.

"What are you saying, we can't really control this, it can backfire us. This is to use only when our civilization will be in a threat of being extinguished at a war." said one of the ministers.

"What is our situation now? In just a few years, we have lost many things. If we don't do anything now, it will be too late."

"Sigh, okay, after all this is the only thing that could save us from this calamity." sighed with a heavy voice the president.

The president pressed a button on his desk and a hologram appeared in front of him. It was a map of the galaxy with a red dot blinking at the center. That was the location of the secret weapon that the Shik civilization has hidden.

The president contacted the head of the Destroyer project, which was the name they had given to the secret weapon, a scientist named Dr. Zan. He explained his plan to use the device to launch a surprise attack on the Earthling's fleet and allies.

He hoped that by destroying their armies, they could force them to surrender and end the war.

Dr. Zan was shocked by the president's decision. He knew that the Destroyer was still unstable and unpredictable. It could cause massive damage to both sides of the war, it could even destroy their own mother planet. He tried to dissuade the president from using it, but he was ignored.

After cutting off the communication, he ordered everyone to prepare since they will enter the final part of the war.

"Yes!" everyone nodded and departed to prepare.

The Shik civilization has concluded, they would use their ultimate weapon to kill the Earthling's fleet.

This weapon is a vestige from an ancient civilization who has disappeared more than a million years ago, it was supposed to be a level 4 civilization who controlled a few galaxies, the name of this civilization is unknown.

The weapon was an artificial planet of the size of Jupiter, it was constructed with different materials. It could fire a laser beam as big as the Earth and could destroy anything in the entire galaxy, being an entire army or even a planet.

But since it was an ancient technology from a higher level than the Shik, it was a little damage, and they were having hard time to control it.

Since the decision of using this weapon, a few weeks has passed and many armies and planets from the Andromeda Galaxy has disappeared and the Shik weren't in a disadvantage anymore.

Jeanne was in a meeting with Arthur, Leo and the other higher-ups.

The meeting was held in a secret base on a remote planet, where they had gathered some of the best minds and warriors of the Earthling's civilization. They were discussing their plan to infiltrate the Shik's territory and destroy their ultimate weapon.

"Thank you all for coming," Jeanne began. "As you know, we are facing a critical situation. The Shik have unleashed their ultimate weapon, and they are using it to annihilate our allies and planets. We have lost many lives and resources, and we cannot afford to lose more. We have to act now, before it's too late."

She activated a hologram that showed a map of the galaxy, with red dots indicating the Shik's positions and green dots indicating the Earthling's positions.

"Our intelligence has located the artificial planet that is their ultimate weapon. It is hidden in a nebula near the center of the galaxy, where they have a strong defense system. We have also learned that they need to charge it for several hours before firing it, which gives us a window of opportunity to strike."

She zoomed in on the artificial planet, which looked like a metallic sphere with spikes and antennas.

"This is our target. We have to infiltrate it, sabotage it, and destroy it. This is our only chance to end this war once and for all."

She looked at her audience with determination.

"Any questions?"

"How are we going to infiltrate it? The defense system is too strong for our ships to get through." Arthur asked.

"In the few years we were here, we have developed a more thorough wormhole technology. We can now directly transport our spaceships on this planet." explained Leo.

Jeanne smiled.

"We have assembled a team of our best warriors and technicians for this mission. They have undergone extensive training, and they are equipped with the latest weapons and technology. They are the best of the best, and I trust them to get the job done."

There was a moment of silence before one of the other attendees, a scientist, spoke up.

"What about the moral implications of destroying an entire planet, even if it's a weapon?"

Jeanne's expression turned serious.

"We are aware of the consequences of our actions. But we cannot stand by and watch as the Shik destroy innocent lives and planets. We have to do whatever it takes to protect our civilization and the galaxy at large. This is not a decision we make lightly, but it's a necessary one."

There was another moment of silence before the group nodded in agreement.

"Alright." Jeanne said.

"We have our mission. Let's get to work."

The team of warriors and technicians boarded their spaceships and prepared for departure. They were wearing special suits that protected them from the harsh environment of the artificial planet. They also carried various tools and devices that would help them sabotage the weapon.

Jeanne, Arthur and Leo were among them, leading the team. Leo has to come to analyse this technology, the seconds in command of the trio would monitor their progress and communicate with them.

They entered the wormhole generator, a large device that could create a portal to another location in space.

They had recreated it since they will need to use it to return to the Milky Way, they needed a few years, but they finally did it.

They activated it and waited for the coordinates to be set.

"Are you ready?" Jeanne asked Arthur and Leo through their comms.

"Ready as I'll ever be." Arthur replied.

"Good luck, everyone." Leo said, "I'll be with you all the way."

"Good luck!" every soldier and scientists being with them or in the base said to them.

The portal opened, and the spaceships flew through it. They emerged on the other side, near the artificial planet.

They were greeted by a sight of horror.

The artificial planet was surrounded by a swarm of Shik battleships, drones, and satellites. They were firing at them with lasers, missiles, and plasma cannons.

They had been detected.

"Damn it!" Jeanne cursed. "They must have upgraded their sensors. We have to fight our way through!"

She activated her weapons and fired back at the enemy. The rest of the team followed her lead.

They engaged in a fierce battle with the Shik forces, dodging and weaving through their fire. They tried to reach the surface of the artificial planet, where they could land and infiltrate it.

But they were outnumbered and outgunned. The Shik had the advantage of home turf and superior technology. They shot down many of the Earthling's spaceships, killing or capturing their pilots.

Jeanne and Arthur managed to survive, but they were separated from the rest of the team. They had lost contact with Leo and his team.

They were alone with only their two spaceships and their own crews.

They saw an opening in the defense system, a gap between two Shik battleships. They decided to take their chance and fly through it.

They made it to the surface of the artificial planet, but not without damage. Their spaceships were hit by several shots, and they had to eject before they crashed.

They landed on a barren landscape, covered with metal and wires. They looked around and saw no signs of life.

They grabbed their gear and headed towards a nearby structure that looked like an entrance to the interior of the planet.

They hoped to find a way to sabotage the weapon from inside.

They hoped to find some of their teammates alive.

They hoped to complete their mission.

They hoped to survive.
